Specializes in NICU.

I was just hired in the NICU! It was my first choice, but I would have taken anything. I start orientation on Aug. 17th :D

float pool, it will be good i think because i can see where i would like to work long term in the future. originally wanted ed but was turned down with them saying i should do a year med/surg then reapply. but my motto is everything happens for a reason and i take this as a blessing in disguise even though i really wanted that ed position. I start tomorrow and i am excited@!!!!!

Medical-surgical telemetry floor. I gotta relocate 3 hrs away from home =\ but I'm jus happy it was the unit I wanted and it's full time to get that insurance! Haha. I start in September which is great cause I still get a summer vacation!

Specializes in LTC, PCU, Med/Surg, Hospice, OBGYN.

UPDATE: After losing my home to a flash flood in IA, I had decided to try in NC again but in person, even though I had been denied many a times before because they "don't have any openings for New Grads right now."

After a lot of hard work (networking and using connections) I'm ecstatic to inform you that I have gotten offered a full-time PCU position in a hospital in NC!!!:anpom::yeah::anpom:

Thank you all for your prayers! :bowingpur God is GRAND!
