.....and is it the specialty you wanted to go to?
float pool, it will be good i think because i can see where i would like to work long term in the future. originally wanted ed but was turned down with them saying i should do a year med/surg then reapply. but my motto is everything happens for a reason and i take this as a blessing in disguise even though i really wanted that ed position. I start tomorrow and i am excited@!!!!!
UPDATE: After losing my home to a flash flood in IA, I had decided to try in NC again but in person, even though I had been denied many a times before because they "don't have any openings for New Grads right now."
After a lot of hard work (networking and using connections) I'm ecstatic to inform you that I have gotten offered a full-time PCU position in a hospital in NC!!!:anpom::anpom:
Thank you all for your prayers! :bowingpur God is GRAND!
Neurology... not my first choice, worked there as a NA for 6 mos. Brand new hospital... 5 star hotel like. This is week 2, They are putting me in Critical Care classes, so I will have my CCRN. Also I will be ACLS prepared before the end of the year. I'm putting in my 6 mos and transferring to an ICU (any one).
