Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

Part 1 thread New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand - Nursing for Nurses
Okay, so I was reading the posts from last year in this forum when I came across this post:I was able to keep my cool about this matter cause I really had huge anxiety attacks before. I mean I know that I shouldn't be thinking about this at such an early stage of the application, but we all can't help but .... I don't know.I need to calm down.
how many years of exp does ozbaby had before undergoing bp?
Hi! I'm new here in this forum..i got accepted in ACFE for september's intake. I have a question regarding their requirements about EVIDENCE OF PERSONAL MEDICAL INSURANCE. Can i use my PHILHEALTH in this? I'm actually from the Philippines. Thanks.
Will your PHILHEALTH insurance pay for your doctors and hospital visits while in Australia? then it is okay, otherwise you must take out health insurance that covers you while in Australia.
I really don`t know. Let`s just say 6 months? What are your thoughts?
my cousin who didnt have any hosp experience got hired in a hospital. another cousin of mine who only had 3 mos hosp experience also got hired and the hospital sponsored his working visa. what they always advise me is that i should not be choosy. it is true that there are a lot of nurses in aus but almost 80% i think dont have any experience. hospitals would hire nurses with extensive exp. nursing homes tend to hire nurses with 0 exp and still offer sponsorship.
