New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2

Published

Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.

Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

Thanks so much!

hi all!

can somebody please enlighten me what an "in principle letter" is? i really thought that's the eligibility letter but i was told it is not. what in principle letter did you present to any ahpra office?

thanks! your help is highly appreciated.

How can it be any other letter, you only receive the one. In principle you have been approved for nurses registration, but on condition you must adhere to a condition, whether it be a bridging course or showing your id at an ahpra office. There is no other letter it could be.

As the letter of eligibility is the letter that gives in principle you have been approved, etc. etc.

ACFE, appear to have a groups left this year and have their next year calender up.

Hi I have a question regarding affidavit of support. I'm now in Australia and my sponsor is in US. I have an affidavit of support template and I'll just print and send it to my sponsor to be signed. However, the previous affidavit was signed and created in the Phil. by a notary public.

So is it fine if I send the form to US for signature?... and then send the it to the Phil. so my dad can give it to a notary public?

I know you'll say that I should just ask my sponsor to notarize it for me in the US, but she's a very busy person so we want to make it less hassle for her.

What do you think?

How can someone in one country notorise something that was signed in another country? When ever we needed forms notorising it had to be done in front of the notary

I agree. Would not they have to be signed off by a public notary in the US or at an Australian consulate?

Then I should really ask my sponsor to sign it for me in US. Thanks silverdragon.

I'm planning to extend my study here so the affidavit of support will come from my relative who'll sponsor me here. This is for student visa requirement.

Be careful if the ''Australian sponsor'' is living for any period of time in the US.

what do you mean ceridwyn? what might be the problem? please tell.
