Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

Hello Ishtin.How are you?
Yes, I received my LOE last November 2011 and took my IRON program at ACFE (January-March 2012). Just received a job offer, yet my business visa is almost to expire that is why I posted an enquiry how to process the bridging visa. Although, I am holding the multi-entry visa, yet it is quite costly to get out from here and fly back again, i was thinking to get the bridging visa if i am eligible.
I sent you a PM. :)
hi everyone!
Please help me out. About the first page of Agos40 form, at which portion can we put our signature? ive read from the previous threads that we are to sign both first and last pages of agos 40 forms. Im just confused at which part of the first page since there's no signage or label as to where we should affix our signature unlike the last page which has clear indication.
thank you!
There are 2 types of general registration application form in APHRA... the first one is for those who were trained overseas... the second one is for those who graduated in an Australian institution. Since I'm an international student, I did both. So what application form should I choose??? Please help/
this was their email to me last week:"thank you for your enquiry. the january intake for iron at la trobe university has not yet filled.
if you are applying on-line, you need to choose 'post graduate' courses and click on term 1 (not semester 1), and ensure that the 'non-award program' box is ticked. the january 2013 iron program will then be visible."
i still have some problems with the online application so i guess i will be doing the same thing as what they suggested to you. by the way, where are you from shaneyney?

guys, help me out please. I've tried searching previous post but I still don't know how to answer the question for the AGOS40 form:
question no.4 - residential add --that would be the Phil add
question no.5 - is your residential add the same as your principal place of practice in Australia ? --that would be a NO
then it says Provide your principal place of practice address below (if you do not yet know this address, pls indicate the Australian State or Territory of your principal place of practice)
previous answers that I have read in this forum is that this is the address of your current employer. Now in my case, it was still 2010 - 2011 where I had my previous volunteer experience and I am no longer employed. Should I still use that? My latest experience was just being my grandmother's private nurse.
