Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

hey patringrn, were you able to know the results of your medicals as well yesterday? you had to wait for 5hours? oh, so aside from the forms, the scanned passport and hap id, i have to bring the printed email from the immigration as well. thank you for this.
not yet done hehehe. we're on the same boat. will finish the medicals first then focus on the ecourse. what topic are you at now?
faith is from cebu :) yup, we can meet up someday soon :)
goodluck on your ielts this sat! =D
no.. they wont give you the results within the day... if they need additional tests, or need to repeat the procedure they will inform you within the week. 5 hours because most of the time I had to wait.. but the place is comfortable so I did not mind.. I'm on topic number 9.. hahaha you? what topic are you in?

bring photocopies of your passport, the original passport, passport pictures (4 pcs if I remember correctly), photocopy of the letter from the embassy.
what is the hap ID?
hey guys, how long before you got your LOE through mail? i have been waiting for more than a week now, and am wondering how long does it really take...waaaah!
it depends on which state you sent your application, and the number of applicants too.. some waited for at least 5-10 months, some for a month or two only..
Good luck!
hi everyone,i would like to ask if i need to go directly to IDP for my IELTS result to be sent to AHPRA or do i just need to coordinate with my review center who facilitated the application back when i was about to take it?
any feedback would be appreciated. thanks in advance.
You can just coordinate with your review centre.
Hi bite_me. sorry i cant send you a pm cause im still new here.
Yup, I sent my application to ahpra-wa on June 4, received confirmation email on June 14, and I got that email yesterday that I need additional information when in fact, I sent all of it to them. TOR, RLE, course description, reference letters, and since I haven't been practicing as a nurse for 2 years, I sent my TOR wherein I took some units in masters degree... Should I just send the same documents again? Do you have any idea? What's your case?:)
I still have to do my medicals, i just lodge my visa.. where are you from? Where did you have your medicals done?Pm me your contact number so that i can call you.. How long did it take for the embassy to inform you that you need to do the medicals? How did you send your medicals? Did they require you of any documents aside from doing the medical? thanks.......
After lodgement of visa, i received my instructions for medical exam a week after. I did my medicals the day after i received it. My medical results was posted to ehealth after a week. Nationwide was the one who sent my medicals to the embassy thru ehealth. The embassy didnt require me additional docs as i submitted it complete. Then after exactly one month of my medicals, already had my visa! (thanx God!)
