Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

hi keralanurse
did deakin ask you [color=#454545]a detailed outline of your work experience and evidence of any professional training that you have completed for the credit for prior learning system.
how did you apply in deakin? can u give me the step by step details of how to have my qualifications assess in deakin as well.
thanks
to all those applying for IHNA....
for the record, you dont need the "Confirmation of Admission" for you to start with your visa application. According to *****, an IHNA admission officer, the letter of offer will suffice. in fact, my embassy case officer never requested for the COA. dont make the same mistake as i did by waiting 2 weeks for the COA. if i had known about this, i would have had my visa by now instead of constantly requesting IHNA for extension of visa deadline.
not exactly..you can find accommodations not within the school..they say its way cheaper, i am still looking for one now..keep me in your prayers so that i can update you guys..i am for the June intake and I am overwhelmed of the entire process
sis @ which campus will you be? i have tried contacting some ppl regarding accomodation in perth. i might be able to help if you will be in perth but i should be the next to use the place by august intake cos it will be terrible to lose the place i found if ever i don't get to stay there.
Hi cuteladytin! I'm thinking of applying to UNISA. Have you already sent an application for the October intake?
Hello,
I will also submit my documents to UNISA thru IDP office.
They will file your AHPRA after you finish your course, which takes 10 days to 2 weeks.
It is much faster since you are already in Australian.
@marklouiemarco sorry i can't PM yet. i just gave a certified true copy of my birth certificate, the embassy did not look for my original documents. but i am still waiting for my visa so i am not sure if what i passed were sufficient.
