Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

By the way, I don't know much about the show money for 456 visa. Is it okey just to obtain a certificate from my parent's bank that they will be supporting me or do I really have to connect their bank account to my name. Please please reply.
hey dear, you don't need to have a joint account with them. others here asked for fianancial affidavit from their folks instead that encloses that all finances will be shouldered by them while you're in AUS. then just attach necessary docs of your folks such as bank cert, payslip, Cert of Employment, billing statements to prove that they can sustain you :)
hi dear! thanks for this! =) hey, is the MRSA really needed? or just for those going to perth? where and when is your intake? =)you mean, you paid a total of 2500k already?
isn't it the offer letter which ihna gives initially is the one we need to submit to immigration in order to processs the 456 visa?
and that the CoA will be given after we finish their online course? :)
actually i don't really know cos we are just both on the same page. so i can't answer more than what a student can answer about MRSA. if i say yes or no you just might be affected by my guessing.
nope 1.5k downpayment only.
please refer to marklouiemarco's post today. i haven't started 456 cos i need more advice on 456 processing too.
im for August.
CoA--> what is that?
That doesn't add up. To be an RN in Australia, you need to be registered with AHPRA. AHPRA reviews your application. You then either get registered or have to do a Bridging Program then get registered. You should probably post more details re UniSA's offer.has anyone of you heard about the UNisa offer? they are willing to waive your AHPRA LOE. meaning, you can start their bridging program while waiting for your LOEs. well, the downside is, you have to finish 4mons of BP :)

CoA = Confirmation of Admission :) i don't know what should we be waiting for in order to process the 456 visa, if it's the Coa or will the Letter of Offer do.
did you tick the box wherein you will accept accommodation in ihna? so is this really required?

ic maybe we need proof of full payment for tuition fee before we can apply for 456.
yes i tick the box wherein i will accept accommodation because i don't know how to find accommodation for the clinicals yet...if i can find a cheaper option i will do that.
but that one is not required cos you can declare and sign that you will not take accommodation with IHNA. the school is just offering accommodation to provide for the student's needs and safety so they have to charge for that service.
regarding the 456 visa, Australian Embassy has a new rule, you have to lodge your visa first at the VIA center then the embassy would email you on the need for the Medical Examination, which we need to present to the accredited centers...
i already tried asking the accredited center if i could already start with the ME since we know what is needed but they would not allow, they need the email from the Australian Embassy.
it apparently takes about a month for processing of 456 visa.

perfectly right! that's what i had in my case (",)
for those who will go to IHNA, is it really required that we get their accommodation? it seems as if we need to confirm and accept their accommodation? any inputs pls :)
not exactly..you can find accommodations not within the school..they say its way cheaper, i am still looking for one now..keep me in your prayers so that i can update you guys..i am for the June intake and I am overwhelmed of the entire process
