Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

The birth certificate must be requested from NSO and they will be the one to deliver it to the embassy. however, its fine if you don't submit your birth certificate nor request one from NSO. I did not include my birth certificate in my application. The embassy did not ask for it and I just got the approval today :)

i'm really sorry..i was in a hurry while typing that post....wont repeat the mistakes again
, i just tried with unisa. i actually got accepted and i'm thinking of pursuing that one but i wanted to hear from others who took the arntp program already because most of the people here take the 3-month bridging courses so there's not much feedback from it. but same as you, i'm thinking it is a better option just so i don't have to wait for a long time for the loe. would you mind sending me your email address via pm? i can't send messages here yet. :)
i too wanted to know more about unisa programme......arntp ...... how is it possible for this university to accept students without loe .what is its difference compared to iron programme & how long it will take to get assessed..
pauiewee can u please reply me in this mail id [email protected][color=#8c8c8c] |
dear, in the offer of acceptance, it's stated there that we accept an accommodation in ihna. is this really required or can we look for other accommodations? how did you go about yours?
hey sorry i didn't notice the question. i will cancel my accommodation with IHNA soon because of the 50 AUD difference in rent per week which could be used for other consumptions.i found an ad online offer 200AUD per week in Perth. i contacted the landlady. we are still going about the process of reservation. have anyone been through situation like this? i haven't paid yet but i will have to pay her soon through western union. she will be in Puerto Rico, US for 2 years. her apartment is in Australia. her key is left in DHL international Airport for me to pick up after i pay the 1 month rent and 1k bond. maybe it is like this for everyone searching for a place before but can you suggest a way i can ask her nicely so that i can verify that the key and house is true like what should i ask her to do that will provide evidence? please advice guys. she is a nice lady but you know we must always be careful every time cos the payment is no joke. hope to hear from you guys. :)
to all those applying for IHNA....for the record, you dont need the "Confirmation of Admission" for you to start with your visa application. According to Fathima, an IHNA admission officer, the letter of offer will suffice. in fact, my embassy case officer never requested for the COA. dont make the same mistake as i did by waiting 2 weeks for the COA. if i had known about this, i would have had my visa by now instead of constantly requesting IHNA for extension of visa deadline.
hi cheskaval. can we use the letter of offer from IHNA only or we have to use it plus the 1.5k enrollment invoice? or i have to show the fullment invoice together with the letter of offer from IHNA? in my situation i already pay the 1.5k downpayment but i still have to gather funds for the other fees slowly from my family members. THANKS
For those who have experience with IHNA Perth. Please pm me if you can advise. I hope someone can reply.
1. Where did you stay?
2. How did you transact the payment?
3. Where were you placed in your Clinicals? Did you find a new rent near it?
4. What are the possible places for Clinicals of students in IHNA Perth?
5. Please give other advices that might help. Thanks :)

Well i'll be applying at the CON also. You can go to any lab but mind you the cost for the serology is congruent to the cost of having the vaccines again and since there's no overdose issue for these vaccines, you might as well just consider to have these vaccines injected to you again and get a cert from your doctor :)
