Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

if you haven't received an email saying that your papers are for final approval already, I think having it transferred to SA would be a wise decision. the thing with ladydee-rn's application, its for final approval already and its been like 6 months waiting time so I think having it transferred to another state would just do more damage.Im reay having series of thoughts now. Should I or should I not transfer this things out. I mean come on.. No LOE is being released. Whats WA's plan? Release it all i one go and then everyone will be fighting slots for bp? More than 7 months? Its just to slow. Im not even half of it and im tired of waiting I thought was the fastest state just few months ago since july last year they just crawled.. #disappointment
I am going to give it a serious thought and visit the WA office once and for all to clear things out. I am contemplating on the "what if's" basically its just to awkward for a WA resident to file on another state. If its in ADELAIDE. I would have a hard time reaching them coz of the distance. although I could call them everytime. Im going to give it intense thinking. Ill ask WA how long this transfer of document will last. on how long is it to transfer from WA to SA. And if they will still repeat the process of it or if they will start from where the WA left. What do you think are some other questions.?
BTW, do you know of any other forumers that are also for the CON April intake?
Actually I am looking too, I am also nervous not to have any filipino classmate for April intake hehehehe. I wonder if its just us who has recieved the confirmation letter, they should be asking by now just like before (jan intake).

I agree with aila... If you haven't receive a final approval letter yet, it MIGHT be wise to transfer... How many months ago was your application received? 2-3 months? So like I said before, there's a possibility that if you transfer, that 2-3 months might go to waste and if SA becomes clogged like WA, you might end up waiting longer... If your willing to take that risk, then go... It might do you good to transfer... But its still your decision... Goodluck...
Hi! I would just like to share my experience with AHPRA NSW. I was also planning (actually I've already decided) to transfer my application to AHPRA WA. But then when I went to their office and requested for it to be done, I was told that I must present an address in WA because AHPRA WA would send all correspondence to that address. Even if I was so hopeless because of NSW's slow progress, of course I didn't push through with the transfer since I really don't know anyone in Perth and I am basically based in Sydney. So I am not sure if you will be told the same thing if you decide to transfer it to SA.I am going to give it a serious thought and visit the WA office once and for all to clear things out. Sigh! But at least we have each other. Lol! I just hope more people would show up. Guys! For the nth time, is there anyone here with a confirmed slot in CON's April intake? Please PM me or gl25. Promise we won't bite. Lol!Actually I am looking too, I am also nervous not to have any filipino classmate for April intake hehehehe. Oh, by the way, for those who attended the January intake of CON, can you suggest of any place (preferably within walking distance to CON) that I could rent out? I have a few prospects but I would really like to live with fellow Filos (even if they are not doing the BP, just as long as they are Filos).
FOr those who are planning to choose CON for their BP, I suggest you try other BP schools like AAON and WLI.
I have paid 10000AUD last February but still haven't received any visa offer letter. Been sending emails to*I**** but she doesn't reply to any of them. I rang her too but it is as if she's hurrying to put the phone down. Tsk.
I also know some with visa already but wasn't selected for the April intake. I believe they are already receiving high volume of applicants (with payments made) but can't accommodate them all that's why they put up a May intake as an addition to July and September. hehe.
This is only my view ok? Or maybe I'm already frustrated. Oh well, God has plans for all of us. :)
