Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

hi i love dogs!! i love dogs too! ahahaha :) when did you submit your application to wa?
Haha. Good to find another dog advocate here! :)
Submitted my application last February. How about you?
To be honest, the suspense of waiting is killing me. Everyday, I check my emails with shaking fingers. LOL!
I think it doesn't matter which state you got your LOE from. However, when I got my LOE from NSW, there was also a letter that was addressed to the Director of CON.I just spoke to a SA representative. They said they will start where WA left. They are not going to assess it back to zero. But they encourage me to apply to the state where i plan to work or anything. Does it matter? I mean? When i applied to SA then do bp in wa or vic and work in another state? Does different state have different loe?
Which state did you lodge your application? LOE stands for Letter of Eligibility.Hi. This is my first post here, so please bear with me. Anyhoo, I tried reading some of the posts here. I'm interested because I also sent an application to AHPRA. I just recently received an email that my papers are for final assessment. I understand that a number of you have already gone through this process. Can you give me a rought time frame as to how long this process usually takes before they give me the final approval? Also, what's LOE? lol.
CON stands for the College of Nursing. It is a school that is offering the bridging program in Sydney. I'm not currently in Australia but I used to live/study/work in Sydney for almost 2 years. I was in Australia when I lodged my AHPRA application, got my LOE, and appplied in CON.Pardon my ignorance, but what's CON? Are you already in Australia?

may i ask what date your friend applied to sa?. because i am somehow decided that i will forward it to sa. im just waiting for till tomorrow if no response. ill do it.. although i i hope i wont regret it.. when i called wa now. they said they are finished assessing my ielts, school docs. so. that leaves coe, prc docs and some certificates. i am always asking my boss here if she happened to be contacted by ahpra(she is also a nurse), she said no. im not sure if they are really calling this places esp. if the place is outside the country. ill give it a deep thought as to pursue this or not. good thing about sa is that atleast loe's are still being released. while in wa. i think none since what? september?
@ilovedogs
where and when did you pass your application? its in wa right? what date? are you for final approval already?
