New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2

Published

Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.

Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

I see. I also applied with CON. Unfortuntately, I haven't got a reply from them.

About WLI, they e-mailed me that they now require a 2-3 years nursing experience. :(

hi.

you can start by looking onto this:

http://www.nursingmidwiferyboard.gov.au

all forms should be in here, along with the list of all the requirements needed.

if you still have questions, you can post here.

Good luck!

1) how did i start: i asked a friend and she led me to this forum. Did my research and decided to do this alone. 2) documents: backtrack to the aerly pages of this forum and you will find it there.. Plus ahpra.gov.au provides everything. If you have specific queries about documents, feel free to ask. :)The cost depends on the exchange rate. Please see schedule of fees on ahpra website.3) IELTS/OET is needed. Very important.. 4) im not affiliated with any agency. I did it my own. and so can you! Good luck! :)
I'm not applying for a bp yet. I'm referring to the assessment and application fees of AHPRA. Maybe debit card is ok as long as it is affiliated to mastercard or visa, I hope...By the way, how much did you guys pay during your application to AHPRA? Do different provinces charge different registration fees?
Using credit card is more hassle free than debit. I let my friend use my debit card details, it's a visa card from union bank, however AHPRA told her to provide another card details because they cannot transact after several attempts. She used another BDO debit card that is a master card, still AHPRA couldn't transact. It's only when she gave them a credit card detail that the fees were processed successfully. I don't know if it'll work for you because I read one post here using a BDO debit card, but that was a year ago. All states have the same fee. All payment transaction is processed in Melbourne, that will be reflected on your card's statement of account. I forgot the exact amount, but I paid around 15,200php. I guess the amount will vary slightly depending on the conversion rate and transaction fee of your bank.

Hi! I'm just new here in the site. Actually I'm having a hard time doing my CV for the AHPRA application. Can anyone can help me out? or if there's someone here generous enough to lend me a copy of you CV. This will help me out big time! Thank you so much!

To those who have applied for visa with family. I tried reading the au website about visa fee for bringing the family but unfortunately, I was not able to locate the information as to how much is the total fee. Another one is what are the requirements needed to file visa? An aquaintance told me that I have to submit the same documents I used in applying BP but with additional like NBI clearance, CoE, proof of financial capability. However, when I tried to browse visa req information I cant seem to find the TOR, PRC id etc required. Please enlighten me. I would really appreciate it. Thank you so much.

hi guys, i'm new here. just want to share...

for those nurses who are still considering to apply to AHPRA. i suggest that you send your applications to the VICTORIA office. I got my eligibility in less than two months. Sent my application November 22 2011, my eligibility notice came January 11 2012.
