New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2

Published

Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.

Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

Thank you so much for this. I should complete my vaccines ASAP. Thanks so much. Im really praying that I can make it for the May intake.
I im not mistaken, with regards to student insurance, its payable to ltu. Its clearly stated in the form anyways when you get your letter offer.

hey guys, what's better: to ask help from a consultant or apply all by yourself?

To stellawinx and glitzdelight, kindly post the link to ltu's application form as I couldn't find their IRON Program application form. Thank you so very much! :)

guys, if your a Filipino nurse, i think you could help me... i have some query regarding the certificate of good standing... does PRC send that directly to AHPRA via mail, my sister back at the Philippines went to the PRC and they've told her that they don't mail that particular document... now how true is that? cause AHPRA needs it directly from the PRC...

Hello there! Was able to get my Certificate of Good Standing without any problem. PRC sent the document directly to AHPRA VIC. I just filled up the form with all the details. The courier service that they used was Fedex. Your sister can try inquiring again for the document.

I was aiming for deakin but application closes late this month and i'm not done with my immunizations.

thanks ^_^

hi about the cert of good standing from PRC. is it ok if i just get the document then have it sent by the World Wide Express (the courier inside PRC)? the guy in WWW said that they do send cert of good standing to AHPRA with PRC as the sender. Has anyone tried this before? thank you in advance! :)
