New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2
Hello kringkring! Thanks for the reply. I appreciate it. I already had those shots. It's just that IHNA is asking for the serology also as stated in their vaccination requirements. But it's okay now. They said it's okay not to have serology testing for DPT. Thanks again!:)

New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2
Hello guys! To those who are for IHNA intake, I am in the process of completing my immunization requirements. However, I couldn't find any serology for DPT (diphtheria, pertussis, tetorifice) here in Cebu. Been asking all hospitals I could think of. Is anybody out there having the same problem? I'm planning to email IHNA about this and possibly ask for consideration. Thanks in advance!:)

Hi Dashe! I have a friend who is an IHNA graduate batch 2010 who had 1 year and 8 months experience. Just try submitting your papers. You'll never know, they might just respond to your application. Best of luck in BP hunting!:)

Congratulations jayvincible!! I am about to lodge my 456 visa application and was wondering how did you answer question #18 in your application form where it asks for your Australian business contact? I'm thinking that I should fill in details of my school but then again, I might be wrong. To others who are also applying, how did you go about this question? TIA guys!

Bridging Program in Australia
Hi mikeyrho314 and ned1968! I am also for VCHN/IHNA this June 25th in Melbourne. How did you guys pay your enrollment fee? I was about to pay the $1000 enrollment fee online via credit card but it says server system error. Deadline of the two weeks time they gave me will be tomorrow. I'm a bit worried. I can only pay via credit card. Already sent lots of inquiries to IHNA but still no reply from them.

Yes, you need to fill up everything to be eligible for selection. I did submit my application to CON but didn't push through it since they didn't answer my query about the refund of tuition fee if I wasn't selected for their intake.

Anybody here who went to AAON Melbourne? Can you share your experiences with the school? How about your accommodations? And where is their clinical placements being held at? Anyone?

hi stemcell101! I think the certificate is enough proof. However, just to be sure, you can have a chest x-ray for your peace of mind. I did mine after having getting a negative result on mantoux test.

Hello cummulus and glitzdelight!I haven't done my mantoux test yet however, I have inquired from pulmo and pedia doctors for this. Will do this probably a month after receiving MMR 2 as it is adviced that MMR and mantoux should be done at least 4-6 weeks apart.Hope that helps:)

Sorry to hear that glitzdelight:( Better to retake the IELTS here though so as you'd get to focus on the BP and job hunting while in Oz. You can always take the exam in Manila or Cebu - wherever convenient for you:)

Yup, MMR comes in one shot. As for Tetorifice, it is included in the Dtap as it pertains to Diphtheria tetorifice and acellular pertussis. But technically, it really depends on the what the school requires. However, the most common required vaccines as what I know includes MMR, Dtap and Hep B.

Info on Global Scholarship Alliance
Hello there! Is there any update about GSA? I was actually accepted into the program way back in 2007 but didn't push through since I was unsure then. However, two years later, I find myself applying jobs online for USA but with no luck. Today, finally, one agency replied and they're tied up with GSA. Does anybody know anyone who's still in the program?
