New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2

Published

Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.

Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

Hi! Most of us are going for ETEA. I'm just wondering if you guys know if AAON and La Trobe are still open for the January intake?

Hello everyone. Just want to share what I've heard during the seminar held by Deakin Uni. The duration for their BP is 14 weeks and they are requiring their potential students to apply for a student visa, and the tuition fee is 10k au.

Next intake would be on January 2012, yet still to be confirmed.

hello, can i ask for some clarifications. I'm currently filling up my AGOS form and I'm a bit confused. With regards to ques. no. 6 "is your residential address the same as your principal place of practice/employment in Australia?". since I'm currently residing in the Phil. my answer would be NO but it says "Provide your principal place of practice/employment address below. Does this mean the address of my current employer?

What proof of identity did you pass to aphra?

hope you could respond to my question. Thanks in advance?

Yes that should be the address of your current work place. As for the proof of identity, I passed my board certificate, PRC ID, and passport.

Thanks for answering my ques. really appreciate it :) With regards to the proof of identity, did you pass anything for Category D? the one that needs proof of the address of the applicant

Nope have not passed any from category D. And it says "if necessary" anyways :D The proof of address can be found in your TOR, so i guess they can verify your address there

I would advise you to send everything that you can send which are listed in the different categories.. This is to avoid delays... if your passport doesn't contain an Australian visa, write them a letter that you can not comply with category A because you have not acquired a visa yet.. explain things to them... like i said send them everything you can from credit card statements to house bills to NBI clearance... Better send more than required rather than delay your process because you lacked documents...

hey guys, i need help! just a simple advice would do :) i took my IELTS and i'm not quite sure if 'id get all 7, the results are not out yet. got 5 months experience as a nurse here in the Philippines, and i'm wondering which school to take BP program if ever.. any suggestions? i tried reading through AHPRA , i'm quite confused. I wanted to do things myself as well, i don't want to depend on some agency anymore. Do you know how things are flawlessly done? thanks in advance!

we are just on the same pace. I still have to take my IELTS but i am starting to research and grasp the application process with APHRA. lots of money will be saved through research and applying by ourselves.

once you understand the "overview" of the application process, then you can easily go through the details, meaning all you have to do then is just to ask your questions here regarding specific matters or details.. so first thing first, undertstand the "overview", then go through the details with some help here..

don't nurse in studying the processs, instead you should be patient...

Hi guys, just want to ask if is anyone familiar or have attended BP with Alpine Health?

Thanks! :):):)

hi everyone,

i'm trying to complete the application form 48r for tourist visa subclass 676. can someone advise me how to make the "letter of invitation"?. my cousin, who is a pr, is willing to help me out so i can attach it to my application. it might bolster my chances of getting a 6 or 12 month tourist visa instead of the business short stay subclass 456 that only allows you to stay in aus for up to 3 months at a time.

how do we submit and attach this letter to our application? can an a scanned copy through email do? does it have to be notarized in australia? i think i still have time to attach this to my application end of this week.

any advise will really be appreciated.:):clown::heartbeat:up::D:redpinkhe:yeah:

Cousins cannot sponsor, sorry to say..do not think they would entertain any support from cousin, could be wrong, but to apply for visit to family, does not include cousins..

sorry re read application....could not see where it needs to have a letter attached on the 48R form, just be open, put in family and friends and the significant dates that you really need the visa for and put in other dates that you would like to have the visa for....

.I get the feeling if you put in a whole year that you want it for straightaway instead of giving the significant dates for your course they would get a bit ''iffy'" but also put in the dates that you would like to have the visa for and they would see that you were not being presumptious in demanding extended stay.
