Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

Hi everyone! I just received my eligibility letter yesterday. It is the best birthday gift this year! :) I am now looking for a school so that I can enroll ASAP. To all those who had their visas approved, how much show money is required by the immigration and how long did it stay in your bank accounts? Thanks in advance!

Hi i can't reply w/ your pm...can you pm me w/ your email add?
thanks unadunad for the PM.guys here's my page 3 & 4. :
1) i would prefer to keep my application simple especially if i already have a good credential, i.e. OR nurse experience...
2) "qualification" refers to your BSN degree..
3) "registration" refers to your PHIL. RN license.. if you have US RN license, then that is included too.. PRC will send that cert. of reg. to ahpra, if you have US RN lic. then it should also send cert. of reg. too..
Private Nurse, PNA.. not included in said page.. again keep things simple.. the more you declare the more you have to present documents.. declare what is really necessary or required..
I used my passport for category B. I just added a letter of explanation telling them that I have not attached anything for Category A. Read the guidelines for the Proof of Identity. It's written there that if cant meet the requirements for such category, simply make a letter of explanation to AHPRA.
I see... can you please send me a copy of the letter? it would be very helpful..=)
