Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

WHere can I obtain Verification of Registration? From PRC? Do i just go there and apply for one or do i need to have some sort of form which I am supposed to give them as such with the application for NZ? Thanks... I am thinking of applying for the IRON instead of the BN(P)..
if you notice in this page and in just the previous pages, we were talking about "CERTIFICATE OF GOOD STANDING"... that is what you need... forget that verification of registration thing.... just read the earlier posts which shows the steps on how to request for it...
i wonder why many filipinos say nasty thingsnways, reminder to all 456 visa applicants, better really apply for a "multiple entry" in order to avoid the unacceptable silly phil. government regulations as implemented by POEA regarding so-called OEC.. if you do not have multiple entry and your in the phils. applying online work to Aus (like me), then later on after you acquire 457 work visa, you will have to pass by POEA and be subjected to their OEC regulations.. Come to think of it, they do not help you in your nursing expenses and your searching for a job, then here they come regulating your job contract when they cannot even give you a job... crazy silly govt retarded rules..
hmmp....
grrrrrh arf arf..

Overseas Employment Clearance... it requires you to submit your job contract for their approval or disapproval subject to changes... heres the thing, that job contract was already filed in Australian Embassy thats why you are approved of 457 visa.. they will check your contract after you get your 457 visa.. meaning, everthing has been signed and done and agreed already... now when they will request for changes, that is where your problem comes in because what leverage do you have then to change everything when it was already done.. thats how weird it is!! and what if your Aus employer will no longer go on getting you, then you end up with zero work..
OEC matter is related to this thread because the topic involves "Filipino wanting to work in Australia" and you cannot work in Australia if you are not allowed to board the plane because you do not have OEC document which is required for 457 visa holders directly coming from the Philippines.. at least im angry with the system, not with someone.. right glio... thats why im warning that you better get multiple entry 456 visa when you apply for it for your BP purposes.... my goodness,.,,
I do not know waht is taht "cert. of registration status" that you mentioned above.... technically speaking, that "PRC diploma" is not a "cert. of registration STATUS", but it is a "cert. of registration"... see the difference..
hi! I think that the cert of registration status (that AHPRA requires) pertains to whether a professional has limitations, been suspended, revoked license, and the like. so the certificate of good standing (issued by PRC) can satisfy this requirement...but this is just my theory
i just came from PRC. because of the long lines and hot temperature, i got lazy about asking the difference b/w PRC cert vs cert of good standing vs cert of registration status...
