Hi everyone, please help me.
I graduated last march 2007 here in the Philippines and I have my license here already.
Because of oversupply of nurses here, it's too difficult to find a job.
That's why I'm looking forward to working in Australia or New Zealand.
However, I'm confused. Esp about Australia.
I already have my bachelors degree here.
When I go there in Aus to work as RN, must I take a diploma in nursing first? can I work while studying?
After obtaining my diploma there, am I already a registered nurse?
Thank you!
VISA VISA VISA.... You have various choices of visa to apply relative to your BP schooling.. it boils down to your choice.. 456 short stay visa is cheaper and quicker to process, but you cannot work part time... student visa is a bit expensive and longer to process, but you are allowed to work part time.. thats just it, bhala ka whats your choice..
9 days processing of student visa, men! thats quick as a wink.. hardly believable but i'll give it a benefit of a doubt for fairness sake.. better tell us what agency is processing that coz i'll definitely refer all my friends there, promise..
nonetheless, convince me pls that 90% Australian hospitals respect Filipino RN's experience in Philippines hospitals.. nowadays, Aus hospitals dont look favorably on experience in Phil. hospitals.. can your recruitment company solve this concern and thus would still be able to place RN (with Phil. hospital experience) in an Aus hospital? I do hope so, i really do..
thanks..
Do you think Phillipino hospitals would respect Australian RN's experience?
hehehe ofkors ceridwyn, no question about it.. when i send my job applications, 1st question, if i have had experience outside phils.,. agencies i contacted, told me they need "experience outside phils.".. in QLD DOH, my application was automatically disregarded because my hospital experience was in phils. not in singapore,uk,canada.. but QLD DOH keeps on advertising for nursing job vacancies, but im automatically not qualified there.. too bad.. life goes on.. needless to say, there are still organization who would consider "phil. experience", but these are a few organizations..
above is based on my actual experience and dealings.. i do hope that my opinion above is wrong, i hope i am wrong, because if i am wrong, then it will 100% benefit me and others too.. i wish im wrong..
Hi everyone!
Newbie here!

All I know is that BP is quite expensive., I envy those who were already out in Oz to pursue their dreams.
Goodluck guys! :yeah:
I would like to thank everyone here for once again inspiring me to dream and try hard to live that dream.
Godbless ALL! :redbeathe:redbeathe:redbeathe
