Hi everyone, please help me.
I graduated last march 2007 here in the Philippines and I have my license here already.
Because of oversupply of nurses here, it's too difficult to find a job.
That's why I'm looking forward to working in Australia or New Zealand.
However, I'm confused. Esp about Australia.
I already have my bachelors degree here.
When I go there in Aus to work as RN, must I take a diploma in nursing first? can I work while studying?
After obtaining my diploma there, am I already a registered nurse?
Thank you!
i read that in this forum ms. dudzy used the visa business short stay 456 for her bp at etea. i'm also taking the same course so i downloaded the application form and since it's a business visa it's asking my occupation and current employment. can i still use this visa if i'm no longer employed?
yes, you can.
hi ryan! when is their next intake at Deakin? and how much is the BP fee? and how long is the program? and lastly how long did you submit your application at deakin before you got that letter? Thanks!
i believe their next intake would be in May. the cost is $9,650 (if my memory serves me right)...its a 14-week program...deakin will send you a letter if you are successful after the deadline or the closing of applications..as for my case they sent the offer letter to me a week after the closing of the applications/deadline of submission.:)
wow!! burger! burger! burger !! hahahhaha! nice to hear that , ry. i'm happy for you, mate even if we don't get to be classmates. we can still jobhunt together, right?as for me, still processing my student visa. continually praying that everything will be smooth from here on... god bless all of us.
yes!
how long is the visa application?

Hi drednag,Hmmm..I didn't do anything special when I submitted my documents to the Nurses Board of WA. I only kept all the requirements in order and stapled documents like TOR, Summary of RLE (those w/ more than 1 page content).
Just meet the documents required by the board of nursing (certified and original copies required), and you'll be fine;)
I wish you luck drednag!
Keep your hopes high and continually pray for guidance, Ajah!
thanks, Blinq!!! by the way, how long did you wait for the NMBWA approval?

Hi, ryan09..congratulations!!!:yeah:
thanks, Blinq!!! by the way, how long did you wait for the NMBWA approval?
It took me approximately 1 and a half month to obtain my eligibility/approval from the NMBWA. Make sure you have constant communication with your CSO (Customer Service Officer) once you lodged your application. Keep track of the documents you sent if the board received it in due time to avoid delays in your application.
You're almost there drednag..
to those who have offer letters already and are applying for their visas, way to go mates!!! hahah.. u're gettin there na talaga!..whew!..me, im still scheduled to take the CAS pa.. guys, just always remember to thank God in all your ways..God bless everyone..
