Hi everyone, please help me.
I graduated last march 2007 here in the Philippines and I have my license here already.
Because of oversupply of nurses here, it's too difficult to find a job.
That's why I'm looking forward to working in Australia or New Zealand.
However, I'm confused. Esp about Australia.
I already have my bachelors degree here.
When I go there in Aus to work as RN, must I take a diploma in nursing first? can I work while studying?
After obtaining my diploma there, am I already a registered nurse?
Thank you!
hi guys, im looking for an education provider of IRON. i saw ramsay's cost only 5.5k aud. but i dunno if they're still acceptin coz their webpage for applying has already expired (seems to me). deakin is full for january intake. they are already accepting applications for may.
there is another school in castlemaine, i forgot the name of that school but still closed for the feb intake, next intake is also may. the course fee is 12k aud but includes accomodation already. it is in thelist of the accredited nbv bp providers.
for now, i think all intakes for january are closed.
etea has one in feb, few slots left as they said.
hi, chabeli, thanks for the info.can we submit our application to qnc and nbv without submitting the ielts yet? i have completed all the documents needed, except for the ielts (i got 6.5 in writing and listening the last time so i have to retake). i will retake the ielts on december 12... is it possible for me to submit the other documents first?
for nbv, i know you can pass without ielts because i didn't pass my ielts. notice that in their application checklist, an ielts result is not yet needed. submit only what's in the checklist.
Yeah! I'm so happy. I already got the letter of offer from latrobe for the January intake! Next step..student visa..I really hope they can process it asap. Anyways, to those who'll be enrolling in Latrobe, may I ask if you'll stay in the univ accommodation?..coz my problem now is..my aunt lives in hampton park which is like..4 hours from bendigo..so I don't have any choice but to rent or to take the univ accommodation..just wana ask.. who else is going to do the same. Thanks!

National Registration and Accreditation Scheme
National registration for health practitioners is due for commencement on 1 July 2010. At present, we are unable to provide detailed information until the new legislation is released and specific policies are developed. This includes the requirement for demonstration of ongoing competence to maintain registration and enrolment.
Further information regarding the scheme can be located at www.ahpra.gov.au

i looked on the ETEA website and found an application form for a bridging course
one of the requirements written in the form is a certified true copy of a visa
do you really need a visa before you enroll in a bridging course?
do all education providers of the course require you to have a visa first?
thanks
