Hi everyone, please help me.
I graduated last march 2007 here in the Philippines and I have my license here already.
Because of oversupply of nurses here, it's too difficult to find a job.
That's why I'm looking forward to working in Australia or New Zealand.
However, I'm confused. Esp about Australia.
I already have my bachelors degree here.
When I go there in Aus to work as RN, must I take a diploma in nursing first? can I work while studying?
After obtaining my diploma there, am I already a registered nurse?
Thank you!

hi Chabeli, may I ask if you already received your Letter of Eligibility from NBV?
and did you already submit your IELTS to NBV?
I'm still waiting for mine, but I have to take IELTS again...do NBV requires your IELTS result before they give you Letter of Eligibility?
Thanks...goodluck to all!!
thanks Aelith for the response...so I must not wait for any eligibility from NBV since I have not passed yet my IELTS...
I think you got yourself mixed up with the "assessment letter" and the "eligibility letter". As far as I know, those two are different. The assessment letter will tell you whether you've satisfied all requirements or you need some more documents to submit. But the eligibility letter is the one you will present to the bridging program providers.
So for your case, I would say, you should expect an assessment letter but not yet the eligibility since you are still lacking some documents.
Guys please correct me if I'm wrong but this is how I understood it. :)
good day fellow nurses! I NEED YOUR HELP. i just received a letter from qnc today regarding my application. it is stated in the letter that my application has been assessed as incomplete and i need to provide them this document: COURSE DESCRIPTORS AND THEORETICAL BREAKDOWN OF HOURS.
Hi, course descriptor is actually the BSN curriculum of your school containing all the subjects with their corresponding course code, especially when you attended more than 1 school in college. Theoretical Breakdown of Hours, take note, is not the same as the RLE coz RLE pertains to lab skills while theoretical breakdown pertains to the major subjects taken grouped accordingly. It's like the credential verification form of the CGFNS application. Your school can prepare one for you. QNC is becoming more strict to credential assessment now but we just have to complyGood luck.
