Took Micro ECE exam.

I know I am forgetting a couple more cleps/dsst, but my mind is blank at the moment.

Wow, that is truly commendable! If I may ask, are you enrolled in Excelsior? If so, how did the Straighterline tests and the DSST transfer (how did they assign the credits)? Thanks!

Specializes in Cardiac.

I'm waiting on my transcript eval now. A large chunk are from Straighterline. Per Straighterline, they show the courses that transfer without issue. I did not send my transcript from SL though. Mine are on an ACE transcript. I don't suspect any problems though. I know HG&D will be used for Lifespan Psych.

SL is a great deal with the 99 dollar monthly option and 39 per course. I took all of those over a 3 month period.

Yes, that IS very impressive! I've never looked into Straighterline, but I will... thanks for sharing that info, Nervous1! What did you find most helpful to study for ECE Micro test? I have a few different books, but haven't started yet...

And Darcy... Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX... you can find that book on Ebay. Some folks posted that they used it a lot to help study, so I found one and bid on it. I got mine for $16 plus $4 shipping. There are a lot of them listed for sale, so just 'watch' a few, and maybe bid....

I used the VangoNotes for Tortora on audible.com (7.99) download. Listened to it for about 2 weeks on and off on my iphone. I also read thru Micro demystified and cliff notes for micro. I passed with a B.

Thanks! I've got Micro Demystified and I have the text for Tortora... I'll look into the Vangonotes. Appreciate the info!! :)

Specializes in Med/Surg, Long-Term Care, Urgent Care.

Saunders is one of the publishers for the NCLEX-RN review book right? I am going to have to make that investment.

Scorpio, I found Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX on Ebay... I got it for $20, including shipping. You have to watch, though.. the last one I was tracking sold for $41. Just depends on the bidding. Actually, I found a LOT of my study materials on Ebay. Good luck!

OK cool, I have to keep E-bay in mind. I got one from textbooksrus.com for $17. I had a store credit with them so I used that.

You will not regret it :-)

My Saunders has been my BFF this year. It was my main source of study for all the EC nursing exams.

Now my BFF is the monstrous 600 pages CPNE study guide. It's going to be a long summer!!!

I can't even BEGIN to think about the CPNE! Good luck, beachnurse!
