NELRP is there a thread?

Is there already a thread for RNs waiting to hear about awards from the Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program?

When I search, I can only find previous year's threads.

I don't know what to think. My application says "under review". I have credit check & EPL. I emailed them last week, and they said they are confirming my loans and employment, but they haven't contacted my employer, or lender yet. I'm tier 1, and 215%, I'm an NP, applying as nursing faculty. I'm wondering if I did something wrong with my application? Oh, I'm starting to get spastic again. I better sign off. If I don't get it this year, I've got all my paperwork in one neat little folder ready for next year! (but I still want it this year!)

I have been following this thread. But have never posted. But I GOT MY E-MAIL TODAY!!!!! It literally showed up on my inbox 5 minutes ago!!! It does say an award is not guaranteed, but I signed my intent to accept and provided my banking information!!! Such a relief, even though again, they said its not guaranteed. Adult Nurse Practitioner, Tier 2, facility score 13, Ratio 215%.

So happy for you!!!!!

Congrats to everyone who has gotten an email!!! And good luck to everyone still waiting...we can't give up yet!

Does anyone who received an email know if there lender or employer was contacted? Are there any nurse fculty who received an email yet? If so, how long ago, and does your university have 50% enrollment of students from disadvantaged backgrounds?

I see that the BCRS website will be down tomorrow for maintenance. It's a good thing I'll be working during that time, or I'd go crazy not being able to check my application!

A while back we were talking about the "roles" tab that some of us have (most likely from trying to login in the wrong place), and I noticed just now that it's gone. It was still there yesterday. I'm not sure what this means, but I'm guessing it has something to do with the website maintenance??

Also, does everyone have the "pre-verified loan total"? I'm wondering if this comes along with the EPL, credit check and "under review" status, or if it's something that was there all along.

I check my original application and preverified loan total has been there all along

where are you guys seeing EPL/ Credit check? I can download my application but it is the app submitted? I dont see any updates...

Also is there anyway to determine your app is being reviewed as a NP or are they basing it on review of CV/ Transcripts?

Thanks guys!

You would see the EPL and credit report on your application, under the same section as your release forms and supporting documents. If your status says submitted, it probably means they haven't reviewed your app yet, and it seems as though the EPL and credit report show up when your status is in review. I'm not quite sure what you mean about being reviewed as an NP and the CV/transcripts, though. Can you rephrase that?

I have been "under review" for a couple months now- still no epl or credit check that i can see... thoughts?

And I just mean is there anywhere on the site or application that clarifies status as np vs rn vs faculty applications other than in the supporting documents that they will review? I just got paranoid as I noticed that my employer put my RN license number on my employment verification rather than my NP license number and I'm hoping that wont result in my not being considered in the NP group if my approval would be affected...

Thanks again in advance...

I see now... I hope they catch that! If I were you, I'd call and ask them very nicely if they can fix your license number. It seems like a good probability that they'd use our license number, employment verification form and resume to verify what position we hold. Good luck!
