NELRP is there a thread?

Anybody got verification forms yet.. it is supposed to pop up on portal right?

I'm thinking we won't get them until April, since most of us didn't get the first payment until October.

Well, I am excited I know that they are reviewing my application. I know this means nothing as far as getting approved but at least I know my application was not just sent to a random address. I hope I am approved. This will help me out tremendously as I know it will for every one that has applied. Good Luck to you all.

Just out of curiosity if you got the email that stated Your overall application status is: Accepted Award - Under Final Review, how many actually got the award. I am applying for 2013 as RN Tier 1, 185% HPSA 19.

You're pretty much guaranteed, as long as all of the info you submitted is verified to be correct. I believe everyone who got the email was awarded last year.

Has anyone transferred sites or attempted to transfer a site? I read up on the website, Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program Changing Jobs, Breaching the Contract, Suspension & Waiver but it doesn't say too much aside from submitting a letter with a reason to switch and also from the potential site verifying their status.

I received the award for 2013, I was under the assumption that we would have to show payment verification basically showing that we used the loan money to pay our student loans. I just did my 6 month verification and it did not include sending in documents from my loan servicer showing payements. I was curiouse you know if it is possible to use the money for another loan, I have a private parent plus loan not included, under my moms social I would like to pay it off for her, but I dont want to risk messing up the rest of my award.

I am going to pay down other debt. after all, in ten years what ever is left can be forgiven, but no-one is going to forgive my mortgage. I still would like to know why this program is taxable and the other HRSA loan repayment is not? Who do you think can answer that? HRSA or the IRS?
