Is there already a thread for RNs waiting to hear about awards from the Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program?

When I search, I can only find previous year's threads.

I have been following this thread. But have never posted. But I GOT MY E-MAIL TODAY!!!!! It literally showed up on my inbox 5 minutes ago!!! It does say an award is not guaranteed, but I signed my intent to accept and provided my banking information!!! Such a relief, even though again, they said its not guaranteed. Adult Nurse Practitioner, Tier 2, facility score 13, Ratio 215%.

Tslance77-Congrats! Things seem to be very sporadic and moving slow this year compared to post from previous years! I hope more people will hear something soon! Hang in there everyone! Don't give up hope!

Congrats Tslance77, I am so happy for you and the others. Can I ask, how did your process go up to this point, did your appl go under review, and did excluded parties, ad credit check show up on your appl. I am just trying to see if there is a pattern.

I submitted my application a 3 days before the deadline. I was not checking my app status at all until a few weeks ago when I started following this thread. At that time, a credit check, an EPL and a pre-verified loan total had been added to my app materials. I checked back every few days and even when I checked it this morning, the status still said "under review." I got the e-mail while I was at work around 4:00 EST today. I logged back in and the status had changed to "Finalist." I answered a few questions about my current work status, provided my banking info, and signed my intent to accept.

The last few weeks have been nerve racking to say the least. I am prayerful that the rest of you will get some good news soon.

I hope we will get good news soon too. I am excited for those of you that have heard. It's great that this program exists. I'm sure we all could use it and deserve it. I'm happy to see any of my fellow nurses receive this!

1st time on this site. RN still waiting... I can't take this much longer! I'm in tier1 with 130% debt/ratio. Application "under review"

So another NP has joined the potentials along with myself and tgonzalez. Good to know they are moving to tier 2 in the NP group, wonder if they have the whole staff working on NPs first then moving over to work on the funding for RNs? If so, at least they are on tier 2 now! I am just anxious for you all. I don't check the thread quite as much as I used to, but still once a day at least. Congrats tslance77 and crossing my fingers for everyone still waiting.
