Is there already a thread for RNs waiting to hear about awards from the Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program?

When I search, I can only find previous year's threads.

i'm the same way!!!! i hope everyone hears something good!!!! i had to tell ya'll last night before i even read the whole email!!! i think they are just moving a little slower this time, so don't give up hope!!!! it says notification until 9/30....

Hi guys, first of all let me apologize for being negative about my appl status. You all are right something positive could still happen. I have been reading y'all comments for a while and was a little let down when some of you all were moving along in the process and I can't even get reviewed. But I will go back to checking the web site like a crazy person until the final date. So, I am sorry.

You are right it is. I always get nauseated on roller coaster rides and I get nauseated every time I log into nelrp web site to check my status. Lol

Hi Guys,

Congrats to everyone who has received an email! That's super exciting!! I too confess that I check this site and the webpage at least 20 times per day. I thought for sure we would hear more after the initial emails, but they seem to be moving very slowly :( Good luck everyone!

I think it is just moving slow.......There is plenty of time left!!! Think about it...one person heard in May, one in June and 2 so far in July......we have no idea what kind of system they are using. It appears they are going through nurse educators and np's first......I don't think we have heard from any RN's. I spent about 2-3 hours last night reading last years posts......just to see how quick people started hearing and if there was a pattern. I'm quite sure I am crazy at this point:no: And then some people never heard a thing and got it so stay positive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, it looks like no news for anyone since tgonzalez last week. I'm just amazed at how many of us amassed so much debt. It grows so quickly when deferred from one degree to the next. You always hear of nursing shortages, scholarships, and loan repayments because we are so desperately needed. But then thereis really very little available. I hope we start to see some more activity soon.
