I am happy for all who have received the good news. But my appl still says submitted, so I know what that means. But I will reapply again.

I think that you are still being considered. The website states that they have to review every application so my guess is that they have not gotten around to yours yet.

I agree totally....I think they have just begun and everyone should think positive....I'm pretty sure that everyone that has posted that got an email is nurse faculty or np, so everyone is still in the running. I have my fingers crossed for everyone!!!!!!!!!

Has anyone heard of any RNs hearing anything? And for anyone who has gotten an email what does your status say on the portal now so I know what to look for or does it still say under review?

Mine says "Final Review". It also says all awards will be made by 9/30/2012. It says at the top that I have confirmed my intent to accept. I haven't seen where any RN's have posted as receiving email yet.

Well hopefully you are not gonna have to but remember your still gonna owe the money, so you might as well!!!! I know the emails are not a for sure but what if I hadn't applied again????

Have any of you contacted your lenders to ask if they have had any inquiries on your loans? Just curious what my chances are that they'll be able to tell me anything if I call them, without having received an email.

I didn't call my lender, I know they did that in past years but I didn't really consider doing it since I think it would just have made me crazier regardless of whether or not they had made any contact, plus my loans are at a huge loan servicer and I find it difficult to deal with them to do anything!

I am still finding myself checking this website to see about you all. Hopefully good news for more people before the weekend (although they must work odd hours because my email came at 6:00 pm last night).

I called last week, I think it was Thursday and they said they hadn't heard anything. They sent my email out at 4:30 or so. I was hoping people would hear things daily????
