Is there already a thread for RNs waiting to hear about awards from the Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program?
When I search, I can only find previous year's threads.
So the excluded party list is a good thing??? I freaked bc I thought it meant I was an excluded party??
Exluded party list is definitely a good thing. If you don't have it soon it probably means that you didn't qualify for some other reason that they found before they got to the step of EPL and such.
I also think that CRNA's are considered in the nurse practioner group. Especially after what GasMan had posted. It makes sense as well since they are Advanced Practice. I definitely hope they are since I am an RN and have a better chance of getting an award if they are grouped in with the NP's!
I just want to confess that I check this website at least 4 times a day for updates to see if anyone has heard anything. I also login to my application although absolutely nothing has changed since the EPL/credit check thing which appeared forever ago. We had a site visit from the state today to our clinic and I had about 5 minutes of downtime the entire day and guess what I did? Yup, checked this site. Going crazy here!
I GOT IT!!!!
OK, I got an email from hrsa telling me I had an update to my application, and logged in and had to put my banking info in and accept the contract. I know technically it is not final, but it feels pretty darn good, don't have any reason to think it won't go through now. Thank God and good luck to everyone else on here. Maybe you just have to keep whining and complaining like I have been doing the last couple weeks!
Congrats! If you don't mind me asking are you an APN or an RN? And has anyone heard of any RNs hearing anything yet?I GOT IT!!!!
