What I said was funny, not your concerns.
My guidance was serious. You are over-thinking this stuff. It is what I would call a bull dinky course in different terms if not on All Nurses.
:)
Oh, and I did ask you to give specifics of what is troubling you. To help.

I don't mean to be so touchy, but I feel like this material is saying one thing in paragraph and the exact opposite in the next paragraph. I am also in such a pinch for time on this one I really don't know if it is possible to complete.

maybe I am a little touch about the situation, but I was looking for some guidance.
Which I believe you received -- you're probably over-analyzing. Gee, what's that like? LOL! I know, it's a hard habit to break!

Formfly. Try to relax. You have 13 more days to read the material and take the test. I have never taken the test before but I bet if you read the information and tried to pick out the points and just review up until the test then you will have a 50/50 chance of passing. Just because you are on a time line is not going to make the information stick any faster. Just try to make the best of the situation and deal with the outcome. You probably are not comprehending the information because you are forcing it. Good luck to you and keep picking away at it.
Thanks, you are probably correct, it won't stick b/c I am forcing it. I am going to have a nice lunch with my husband and kids, and then pick it up and try again.
Serious advice, girlfriend? IGNORE the two paragraphs you can't reconcile. Seriously. Two paragraphs will not make or break you.
Move on to the next thing.

Here are a couple of resources to help you in your studies.
The first one is a practice test for the ANCC Gerontology certification exam (with answers).
The second is a resource page from the Hartford Institute for Geriatric Nursing (they set the standards).
Thanks!!! I am sure these will help to make me feel more confident in what I am studying.

Just wondering if you passed? I am trying to do the same in a short period of time. My problem is that the info just doesn't interest me too much and I am having a hard time keeping on track. Hope it went well for you. Any tips/pointers from anyone would be great.
