Need help preparing for the Hesi A2 Entrance Exam

I bought the study guide but I have heard it is not much help when preparing for this test. I will be taking it in Nov at MCC. I was wondering if anyone bought "Hesi Test Secrets" from Morrison Media. It is $40, but it is worth it?

Any study advice would be appreciated!

I'm new to this site, but I think this is where I can ask/say this! I took the Hesi A2 twice already for West Coast University in LA! But both times i got 73% I don't know what I did wrong, I knew everything thought it wasn't that hard. I get my last chance to take it on Jan 5th! & Now I'm kind of loosing hope, any advice? I really need to pass so I can move on, but why does it seem hopeless right now. :( :(

Just curious Helpme! I am planning to take the same course at West Coast now. Can you possibly give me some advisce on what is on the Hesi. I do have a west coast study guide i managed to get from this site but do you konw if its outdated or not since it n0 longer on their site? Is there any science what kind of vocabulary any assistance is great?

Is there lots of algebra on the HESI like solve for X type problems or any geometry? Or is it more like conversions and fractions?

I was curious if anyone knows how long your HESI scores are good for? I took mine 1/20/2009 and I am hoping to use the same scores to apply for another school who just switched to the HESI test as part of their entrance. If anyone knows I appreciate it thanks!!

Omq! Am in the same situation. I have to take the HESi text to qet in chamberlain and i was wondering if anyone of you guys has the book that dont need or dont want because i need it to practice and study it so i can pass mi entrance test. I tried ordering it through the internet but i cant. so if any of you guys knoe where i can get it at please let me knoe asap. i would really appreciate it(:

:yeah:I am trying to get into Carrington College in Reno. I take the Hesi 1-26-11. I was wondering if there are any recent graduates that have any advice or any info about the program, teachers,clinicals, etc.Any info would be helpful. THANKS!
