703annC- What do you mean "not going well" ??!!?? Please please please explain! I am going to my interview today and I do not want to waste time on another POS tech school. I would appreciate a little more info. Like if it's just you having a hard time, if your in clinicals, if you just started and overwhelmed, if the teachers are bad, etc??? any info is helpfulThank you!!!

:yeah:I am trying to get into Carrington College in Reno. I take the Hesi 1-26-11. I was wondering if there are any recent graduates that have any advice or any info about the program, teachers,clinicals, etc.Any info would be helpful. THANKS!

Are there ANY students in the ITT Tech Portland Nursing program that can give me some insight on the Program. How the teachers are, where clinicals are done, etc. Everyone on here seems to be starting programs but i haven't found anyone in or almost done with the program. I would appreciate any and all information from current students.

I am extremely interested in ITT Tech. I have visited the Henderson Campus. I Attended Carrington for my MA 7 years ago. I am familiar with Tech schools and Debt. I Hope ITT Portland is a good school. I WANT it to be so I can attend. I just know how these schools tell you whatever you want to hear to get you to sign up. If i am going to pay $50 grand for a school I want to be able to get a education worth the money and one that will prepare me for the NCLEX. All that really matters is state board accreditation, even that is provisional. I would like more information on the program as you attend. I am considering starting there in march. Thank you.

Steener77 I already did that and have an appointment. I want to know if the program seems decent. I have looked at a few technical schools. Including the one in Henderson, NV. I didn't feel the campuses was up to par as far as nursing schools, but who am i to say? I have my pre-reqs, I have looked at alot of schools and I don't want to play the waiting game. I just want to know if the Portland campus has a good nursing program.

They are not accredited. They are a candidate and going through the process. But they are not currently accredited. If they were it would be on the accredited part on the site. Candidate status does not mean accredited.

do more research, NLNAC denied the Indianapolis ITT Tech. They are not getting accredidation at this time.

check NCLEX pass rates. They are low. I myself have thought about it for the same reasons. Why wait. I am looking into ITT tech in Henderson for their program. I have thought about Carrington also since it's closer to me from Sacramento. Go there and see how you feel. If You get a bad feeling then wait. The Sacramento Program has an 82 % NCLEX pass rate, i would hope reno Is the same.

HI! I was wondering if there are any students attending the Portland or Henderson, NV ITT tech Nursing programs. I have done all my pre-reqs, I do not want to play the waiting game to get into a program. I am about to drive to Henderson tomorrow to check out the school but i want to make sure its a decent program first. Most likely either way I'll be visiting the campus but i would like to know more from anyone who is attending or has at least visited the school. I am scheduled for Orientation in Jan for Portland I am torn between the two. THANK YOU!
