I am in block 1 of the RN program at Carrington(Apollo). Has anyone graduated from the program recently? Was it hard to find a job after graduation? How was the program? What is the hardest semester? Did you like your clinical instructor? We are at the abrazo hospitals this semester. Just wanted to get some feedback from graduates. Thanks

I haven't taken the one for Pima, but the Apollo one you only take math, vocab, and reading. You also have to take another entrance test called the Cpat test. Its like a general test before the Hesi, but it is pretty simple. I think you have to go to the seminar before they give you any info on the test. Same as apollo, I had to go to an info seminar and was scheduled for the Pima one, but cancelled because of the distance.

Yes, they are serious. I started Apollo's RN program today. But everything is included in the cost. Uniforms, books, everything you need. It is costly, however you will be done by the time you would enter a program at a mcc college program after waiting 2 years. Itt tech is new, so not sure on their program. I have heard good things about Pima medical and Apollo. But pima is too far for me cause I'm in the west valley.

No, you have to take both test even before the prereqs. I am taking the prereqs as well. Starting with A and P and math, psy,-already had english done. But they will give you more info at the info seminar. You have to apply for a fingerprint clearance card before you get in to. The program includes the prereqs and the cost includes everything.

The next start date is in July, You have to go to the info seminar. Then before you can enroll you have to take the Cpat test, which cost 20 dollars and if you pass you have to take the Hesi A-2 test and pass it as well. Once you pass both then you can enroll. You meet with fa and make sure you can get financed and then they enroll you. I am excited to start.

I actually start the semester on Monday. However, the school is very expensive, it will be worth it because you do not have to wait to get in. I have heard good things about the school and the pass rate is very high for the boards. In June they are changing their name to Carrington College. Most the people are very helpful. The fa department was very helpful getting me financed and you can also apply for grants.

No, actually I was looking at PMI in PHX, however there nexy class does not start until July. I am actually starting Apollo's RN program next month.

Chucke I was really wondering if they offer contracts to Apollo students? This is what I have heard. Do you know anything about that? Thanks

Thanks so much. I only went through the first couple of pages. It shows that they are doing something right. I cant wait to start. Does anyone have ideas on how to pay for daycare while in school? I have a little one that needs daycare and in July I plan to attend school full time. I know there is childcare assistance, but I understand there is a waiting list. Any advice? Thanks

What school are you attending? How much of the cost do they help you with? If you don't mind me asking about you school?

After June 2010 Rio will no longer have the online program. Not sure if this is a permanent thing or not.

I think GCC has a weekend program.

I think Rio's online nursing program was being placed on moratorium effective June 2010. I am not sure why. Check out the link that I posted. I got it from another post on here.
