:balloons: hello everyone. i am new to your forum. i have been an lpn in tennessee for 17 years. the first 16 were spent in pediatric neurology and now i am in home health. now that my children are almost grown, i am wanting to get my rn. my home health job is full time plus. there is just no way to attend classes. i am looking to find a reputable lpn to rn program online. on the internet, i continue to get directed to programs that are rn to bsn only, eventhough i am typing in lpn to rn. i would like a career mobility type program that would honor some of my prior lpn classes and be able to skip some of the rn requirements. any suggestions?

Here's one that came up when I googled. I don't know anything about the school, though.

Hello! I noticed that East Tennessee State University has a growing number of online programs, and although their website doesn't state that they have a specific online LPN to RN program, their director may be someone to talk to. It seems to me that an online program offered through an accredited college or university would be a safe way to go. They may be able to offer direction if nothing else. I hope to enter an RN to MSN program online when I get that far (I'm just a beginning student so I have a LONG way to go!:)
Best of luck to you!

Well I was looking at Indiana State University who works with The College Network. I haven't really heard any opinions on it but I need it. I have two young children, work 72 hours per week, and my husband is in school full time 3 days per week. The youngest doesn't start school until 2008 and we couldn't possibly afford daycare right now. Any suggestions for me? I'm 23 and take LPN boards on Halloween. Hope Ive helped you a little.

Deaconess in St Louis MO also has an online program. I've heard it's pricey but you might look into it. I'm doing the Excelsior College LPN to RN program.
