Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hi, everyone, I failed nclex three times in florida , according to Florida BON I have to take remedial expensive course , do clinicals again in order to retest again. I'm a mother of two toddlers and don't have money and time to do all that. I heard that i can take it in another state bur I don't know what are the requirements and what to do and have in order to take it out of state. Please help me If you know .. I'll appreciate it.

mmmmm, I am glad that I found this page. I took the test for the first time on 1.14.15 and failed at 75 questions (studied and prayed). Wish that I could change the date. I am also thinking of taking the test in NY instead of FL.....

If you only failed once why take in another state? It's a national exam. The exsm isn't easier in NY vs FL?

Y'know, I think I might jump on the bandwagon of people saying it's an easier exam in NYS....after all, if my own State BoN gets a huge influx of $$$ from NCLEX-takers, maybe they might consider reducing my renewal fees? ;) LOL...

Hey AwesomeAmber,

Hey! Thanks for your post. They've been very helpful, but I'm hoping you can clear up something for me. I have failed the NCLEX 3 times in Florida. I want to take it either in GA or NY (preferably NY). My question to you is, how is it that you were able to apply here in FL (if you took the exam 3 times) and still not step foot in NY to take the exam??? I'm very interested in this, simply because if I can save money not having to go to NY, but still have my results go to NY....well, that would be perfect!! I'm so anxious to hear your reply. Thanks again for your post!!!

All the answers to all your questions are already posted on this very thread. Scroll back through and read them. Then you'll know whatever it is you need to.

Hello RNsRWe,

I believe my post was directed towards AwsomeAmber??

Although your reply was informative, it really wasn't helpful. Being "helpful" would have been to simply answer my question. In defense of what you would perceive as my lack of intelligence, please, allow me to explain. When I read this post I did not have the time to read the thread. I dropped a comment and planned to revisit it later (in hopes of hearing from Amber). Anyways, thanks for your time. :)

Unnecessary and rude

Well, gosh, so sorry I was not helpful, merely "informative". :sarcastic: But let me get this straight: YOU "did not have the time" to read the thread, but expected someone else to rewrite the information for you that was literally a few posts above yours?? Your time is valuable, too valuable to waste looking for the answer to your question, but others should take their time to do that for you? That takes some serious nerve, I have to say.

And while you were directing your question to another member, I was letting you know that the answer WAS RIGHT THERE. So, my apologies again for helping....or, excuse me, NOT helping, just being informative.

Man, some people....

NanikRN...that was the point. RNsRWe...well now you know that their are people different from yourself. :) :sarcastic:

Your point was to be sarcastic and rude??

You must have quite a bit of spare time on your hands

There are always those who ask for help and then scoff at the help they get. It wasn't the RIGHT help. It wasn't especially for them, it was something already posted for someone else. Yeesh.

Not a shocker that some people have such trouble with NCLEX, when they miss some of the obvious information in front of them, right here, or cannot understand why they are having such problems.

Then again, some people just seem to stick "RN" in their UserIDs whether they have a license....or not.
