Need Advice From Students

I'd try the dean or the operations manager.....call up the school and explain the situation. My school is always passing along job opportunities like this.

Our school has several of these postings on the bulletin board in the hall of the nursing department. I guess some things don't change. :) I would definitely contact your local schools.

You could try calling the NS administrative assistant to see if you can post an ad in the common area/break room. We had a bulletin board that had a few jobs posted much like the one you are offering. I think it IS a smart idea to try there first.

I have seen similar advertisements at my school. You can always contact the nursing department office. Our department has email listserve (exclusive to nursing students) often used to pass along information like this.

i would contact the nursing coordinator at the school and give them the information. i'm sure she/he would be happy to pass on the information and the students would be happy to it. i’ve received a few care related volunteer opportunities from my coordinator. and i did see a job posting for nursing students on a bulletin board at my school (yes they still do exist!) however my school is large and by the time myself or any of my classmates saw it, the application deadline had passed, not just by a few days, it was a few months old! so depending on the school, the bulletin boards are not updated and people have no problem covering up someone else’s to make room their own.

I would contact the nursing department. When I was in school we had a couple of these type of jobs sent out via email from the nursing office to the students

I would call and ask for the nursing department secretary. We often have organizations ask the department if any of us want to volunteer, I'm sure it could work the same way for a job like that.

Same as posters have said. When I was a student, all jobs came through the school of nursing. The coordinators at the school can then email the students and or put up an ad. Also, these coordinators have a good idea about who is responsible, and best equipped to meet the requirements you would have.

You might also consider asking a few of the techs you work with (that you trust of course.) A coworker needed assistance with her sister, and was able to give a couple of our patient care techs the work. Techs are ALWAYS looking for a chance at more money. :)
