I just wondering if there are others out there applying this May for the Fall 2014 class. I just found out I have everything to apply at NCTC but with a B in A&P I I only have 10 points and I'm not sure if I will make the cut. Anyone else?
I emailed ***** at Gainesville today, and she said the print out was fine.
From ******, "The degree audit doesn’t have to be official. A copy will be fine.
You won’t have to make an appointment. We are not open on Saturday, but we are here Monday through Thursday from 8-4:30 and Friday 8-3."
I guess I will head up on Wednesday.
Ladyflyer, I have a question for you about the application process if you don't mind. BTW, I live near Flower Mound in Argyle/Lantana.
So on my degree audit they used a class in which I made a C for my core elective, but I had many other classes they could have used with an A. So, this will affect my points if they base my application on the degree audit. How did that work out? Do you fill out your application and your own priority point sheet and will they let you chose the classes you wish to use for your core elective? Does that make sense?
I have been trying to get the answer to this, but Cindy wasn't sure.
Thanks!
I taked to the Allied Health Advisor in Corinth today & she pointed out that I had a class that I made a C in then retook for an A so she told me to be sure to use the A obviously on my points but to also point it out to them when do my application. However the A is what is noted in my degree audit. I would stop by and talk to the nursing advisor first before you do your application though and get their advice because once you hand it over it's out of your hands & you want the most points possible for sure!
I just printed my degree audit to go to Gainesville...and they did the same thing to me. They pulled a class I made a C in that they could have used others that were an A. The one C on my transcript & they stuck it on my degree audit. I'm kinda upset because that could affect me if they go by that degree audit! I will be stopping at the advisers and seeing about getting it changed, I have worked too hard to trust that they won't go by that piece of paper because when it comes down to getting in, we are all just the sum of our grades/test scores. Once I put in that application, it's out of my hands, I have to hand in what is 100% correct. Anyone else have issues or need corrections on their degree audit?? Any advise?

I put in for 2 separate degree audits and have received nothing back yet. After applying yesterday the secretary said it can take 6-8 weeks. Really! I think you have to keep up on top of this process as the ball could very easily be dropped. Self preservation if you want to think of it that way. I'm sure we have all worked long and hard so I'm not taking any chances.
