NCTC ADN Fall 2014

I just wondering if there are others out there applying this May for the Fall 2014 class. I just found out I have everything to apply at NCTC but with a B in A&P I I only have 10 points and I'm not sure if I will make the cut. Anyone else?

I don't know if anyone else lives in the Flower Mound area, but I went to the JC Penny on 2499 in Flower Mound today and they had Reebox shoes on clearance. These shoes fit our schools criteria (all white, no mesh or holes) and were only $23. They are having a clearance event, so I am not sure how long it will last. They had one size 6, and a few 7's and 7 wides, 8, 8.5 and size 9. These shoes are for women.

Darn it. I havd some all white leather sketchers but they have tiny ventilation holes on the top & sides. I guess those are out.

It was my understanding that they aren't suppose to have ventilation holes due to the hazards of spills and or needles falling into the holes!

Makes sense. I was afraid they wouldn't work. One more thing to add to my growing list of things I need. I'm actually trying to make a list right now. Between the things I needs and the kids school supplies, I need to start shopping now! And get a loan!

Found the Reebok leather "no vents" shoe at JCPennys on sale thanks to TWishes. I picked up 2 pairs.

Does anyone need or know of anyone who needs nursing school entrance exam books? If so, I have quite a few that I am willing to donate to whoever can pick them up from my house. Please PM me if you know anyone interested!

I am willing to donate them after I receive my acceptance letter to NCTC hopefully next week or the week after!

I had to order my sneakers online because I wear a size 5, but if ya'll are still looking the Sketchers for work women's Felix marathon sneaker don't have any vent holes and are all leather. Got mine on amazon for $48. Also bought my scrubs and 2 used books for 5 bucks each.

I too am tentatively accepted... still waiting to see it on paper! I have been reading yalls posts and man I need to get going. I can't wait to meet you ladies. I do know of one guy that got in with us and he's a hoot! Not wanting to put out any false hopes but I did speak to this one girl at the testing that said she was practically a shoe in @ Grayson I think... anyway she sounded pretty certain she preferred to go there and NCTC was just a back up. Any who... I am also interested in carpooling too. I live in Ponder but go through Denton anyway if anyone is interested. For some ridiculous reason I am stopping myself from buying anything until I get the packet. The one thing I did purchase was my purple Littman. Only because it was on sale. I am beyond excited to get this next chapter started with what sounds like some pretty bright folks! Is anyone thinking about not buying the box of books and getting the stash on their own?
