NCTC ADN Fall 2014

I just wondering if there are others out there applying this May for the Fall 2014 class. I just found out I have everything to apply at NCTC but with a B in A&P I I only have 10 points and I'm not sure if I will make the cut. Anyone else?

Hey ladies, just went scrub shopping so here's the 411...scrubs xpress in denton has the landau true red tops for 5 dollars on sale right now. It's slim pickings though, I only found one. They do run big, I wear mediums in Wink but needed small in Landau. Wasn't able to find the pants because I need a small petite but amazon has them for $20. DO NOT get the relaxed fit, they are the ugliest bottoms ever! Go for the flare leg drawstring if you order online. Hope this helps :-)

does anyone know of someone who made it into the program but is choosing to go elsewhere??? I am alternate #1 and just sitting on pins and needles here!!!!!

I don't know anyone but I was an alternate for lvn and they can call all the way up to second day of class to see if all actually show

I don't care WHEN they call, just that they DO call me!!! lol! My employer is breathing down my neck about RN school!

You will get a call there will be at least one person with an issue

Same thing has happened to others I know. Your odds are great that you will receive that call. Statistically someone will bow out for a multitude of reasons :) I know how you feel!

I am back from being out of town! It was a nice distraction!!! I received my Wonder Wink white scrubs and I like them. I ordered a large in Landau and it was a parachute on me, so returned it.

I am going for my BSN too, and if all goes well I hope to one day fulfill my dream to become an NP. BUt that is so far in the future, I don't want to put he cart before the horse!

Thanks for insight on the books and scrubs we need! I can't wait to get the acceptance letter and really get the ball rolling. There is so much to do!

I forgot to say that I am in Lantana/Argyle (near Flower Mound) and I have one 7 year old boy. I am married! I would like to find a carpool, at least for some of the times. Although, I probably will need to drive on my own from time to time if my child goes into afterschool care. I am not sure if I pass by the Corinth campus on the way to Gainesville.
