NCTC ADN Fall 2014

Published

I just wondering if there are others out there applying this May for the Fall 2014 class. I just found out I have everything to apply at NCTC but with a B in A&P I I only have 10 points and I'm not sure if I will make the cut. Anyone else?

Current nursing students, do you usually need to carry your books to class? Do we need a big rolling backpack? Thanks!

Amandacam, can you share which drug guide book you use with online access? Thanks!

I got my letter about two weeks after they posted the cutoff scores. Due to the post they made online, I don't think you will see your letters until July. Keep an eye on the "applying for the next class page" since that is where they post updates about what is going on.

Alot of people do use a rolling backpack, but it is personal preference. I tend to have a regular backpack and only bring the books I need, but others like to have all of their books with them. It's just what you think you'll need on the rolling backpack.

To answer the question about SNA - you can join at orientation and applications are open up until the first meeting. I will let Amanda fill you guys in on all of that since she is the president! Totally join. Absolutely join.

Relax ladies! :)

rnhope2b, I replied to your PM. I can't find the messages I sent, so if you don't receive anything from me, please let me know! :-)

Got them.

Happy Sunday! Got the day off so I went to scrubs store in Lewisville and glad I did. Tried on several sizes and ended up having to order red and white scrubs for class. Does anyone know when books will be available to purchase for our fall class?

Hello, I too have applied to participate in the ADN program for Fall 2014 (LVN Bridge to BSN). I am excited about classes starting too. I work full time.

Glad to see more transition students on this site!

Yes, you all must be an amazing group to have made it through LVN. You'll be light years ahead of us who have little to no experience in health care. Glad your here too.
