NCTC ADN Fall 2014

I just wondering if there are others out there applying this May for the Fall 2014 class. I just found out I have everything to apply at NCTC but with a B in A&P I I only have 10 points and I'm not sure if I will make the cut. Anyone else?

Now that everyone has taken this test, let me just say...that was brutal!!! I hate taking tests!!

I got a 79. Was hoping to be in the 80s.

So I just got done my group was the last to test! That was hard hopefully a 77 will do it for a transition spot

From what I've read from years past, a 77 will easily get you in for the transition. That test was brutal! I guess that gives us a taste of what we have to look forward to! Now we stalk the website! My fingers are crossed for everyone!

Results are up!

Applicants for the Fall 2014 Associate Degree Nursing Program.

Generic and LVN to ADN Transition applicants:

If you scored 71 or above on the Kaplan exam on the overall score, you are tentatively accepted into the ADN program.

If your overall score was 70, you will be listed as an alternate and will receive an email on Thursday, June 19 telling you what your position is on the alternate list.

Acceptance letters will not go out until we have received clearance from the Board of Nursing, which usually takes two weeks. We hope to send these letters out by July 11th if possible.

ME TOO!!! I think most of us talking on here made it! Congrats to everyone! Can't wait to actually meet you all! Now what?? wow I feel like there is so much to do now to get ready! What's the tentative about? Do they have to send our info to the BON & get approval or just get the results certified or something? Not a big fan of maybes

Think that is a loop hole incase the criminal record is a problem? If there is something else then it would be nice to have clarification asap!!! Congrats to the future Class of 2016! :)

I really thought they did a background check already to see if we were eligible to take the kaplan.... Whatever the case I'm excited! I don't like maybes and it kind of makes me nervous just want July to be here already.... Congrats to all
