NCLEX yesterday 265

Hi everyone,

I just took the NCLEX yesterday and went all the way up to 265 questions. I know I shouldn't be discouraged with the number but I started to panic after I passed 100 and then 200. SO, I'm trying to assess the level of difficulty I had. I had many priority questions and my last questions was too easy. It was an application/implementation question. Does anyone what level this question is? I find out tomorrow about the test, but I can't help but analyze everything about the NCLEX!

I hear this feeling is not uncommon after the test. I can't offer any words of wisdom as I have not taken it yet, but I wanted to let you know someone is thinking about you. :icon_hug:

Implementation is not a level of cognitive ability, but is part of the nursing process. Application is considered somewhat of a higher level. The levels are knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, evaluation, and creation - in that order. It is almost impossible to have multiple choice questions that are at the creation level, so the chances you'd see that level are pretty slim. So, to answer your question, application questions are higher-level. Priority are generally higher level. Many people pass with 265.

Please don't be discouraged by the number. We've had so many people in this forum pass with 265, along with those who fail at 75. It really doesn't matter about the questions.

We're thinking about you during this time. Please keep us posted!

huh?

You do the best you can and pray that you passed. If you don't pass, you study and take it again. The number of questions you had has nothing to do with how smart you are. I graduated with a 4.0 and had 265 questions.

And remember the odds of passing are with you. Over 80% pass the first time.

Two of my classmates passed with 265 questions, one who had a 3.9 GPA. I wouldn't worry about # of questions.

i passed with 265 u can too

good luck!!!!

The number does not count. I have heard people passing and not passing with every type of number so far from my schoolmates. I passed with a 265 (1st try)... Just wait for your results.

the number does count. with a 265 that means that you are either just over the pass line or on or below it. either way know at least you are very very close.
