Good luck on your exam tomorrow and god bless you. I know you can pass because I believe in you! Just remember to relax, don't panic, think clearly, don't rush and do your best. I know you can do this! My prayers and blessings are with you...please keep us updated:)

Much love!

I found out a very short time ago that I passed the NCLEX-RN. I took my test on Friday at 8 am, did the Pearson Vue Trick a few hours after I took my test and well, it worked. I dd not pay $7.95 for quick results, instead opting to go to the Florida Depart of Health and I found out as I stated not long ago.

I wish you all the best.... I can only tell you my experience. Whoever is thinking of re-scheduling, do not! If you studied and did your all, doing that will make litte difference. Frankly, I am not sure if you can really study for this test. Lots of things on my exam, were not in my study schedule. Definitely know the lab values, learn about prioritization and delegation.

Aiza, God is good and HE is great.....have faith, never lose it. You will be tested, but have it in your heart. I wish you the best. YOU GOT THIS, NOW GO AND ROCK IT!

If you can think critically, have basic nursing knowledge, and set priorities, you will be fine. One question has nothing to do with another so don't go there! Deep breathing and self talk of positive things will help. If you have answered many practice questions well, that is a good sign. Most people pass it! Good luck. My boards in 1971, were three days long and every course was a different exam. Our was knowledge based. Now it is critical thinking and setting priorities most of the time. A few legal questions may be thrown in so know the difference between negligent and intentional behavior such as battery. Any other questions let me know, I used to teach classes to prepare GN's for their boards. I will be praying for you.

I visualize you doing great. Take you time! One question at a time!

I'm testing Wednesday also! Nervous and anxious, but feeling a little more confident after the Hurst. Hoping I pass!

Some of my classmates that took the test before me, posted on Facebook a photo where it said that they passed....I kept visualizing the exact photo but with my name on it....I kept looking in my mind, MY NAME and the word PASS.....I suggest you do the same.

No one wants to go with the idea of re-taking it, but also you have to see the big picture and realize that if you had to; as sad as it is, it is NOT THE END.... Throughout nursing school, while studying for those exams that one has to pass, I kept in mind what Randy Pausch said in The Last Lecture “The brick walls are there for a reason. The brick walls are not there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something. Because the brick walls are there to stop the people who don’t want it badly enough...", well, I kept saying to myself, this is WHAT I WANT...nothing is going to stop me from it. Everyone should see this amazing lecture, is on youtube, so inspirational.

If you have really studied and prepared yourself to the best of your ability, then you have given it your all, so go and do it! I am sure you have love ones that are rooting for you, praying for you....you sit in that chair and you say a prayer and do your best.... then when the screen goes blue, say to yourself GOD IS GOOD NO MATTER WHAT. I can assure you, my family probably already owns stocks in the candle business LOL.

Sending you all big hugs, and we must remember this moment once we reach the years of experience in our profession, never forget how humble we are at this moment, because we need to be there for the ones coming after us, just as on these sites many nurses and educators have given us advise and help us along the way. We can never forget to pay if forward.

I'll be praying for you too! Mine is in 2 weeks and I am a wreck ... more than I thought I'd be :(

I'll never forget the day I took my LPN boards in NYS.... 8/8/2011. I was an honors student when I graduated that June. Didn't open a book, didn't even stress. My test shut off at 85 questions. Went into the test that morning ready to conquer the world. I left in tears. But, two weeks later, I received my license in the mail. Moral of my story? The sooner your test shuts off, the better your chance of passing (although the NCLEX people tell you the number of questions has no relevance... It does). Also, a very wise nursing instructor once told me that if you leave thinking you failed you probably passed, and vice versa. She was also very right. So don't overload your brain, take a deep breath, and hope to leave in tears. Worst case scenario? You take it again, and you'll know what to expect the second time around. Good luck! You'll do fine.

I'll be praying for all of us, who will be taking the NCLEX Exam.. mine is tomorrow, pray for me please... could anyone tell me about the PVT? thanks

You got it! I took it earlier this summer and passed, definately prayed a lot! Take breaks when you need them, I think that helped me to stay calm.
