I'm freaking out!!! I've already got the shakes and the upset stomach. I can't decide if I will do the PVT or wait the 48 hours to see the official result...I think I'll end up doing the PVT but it's an hour and a half drive back home & I'm going alone.... ahhh!!!!!!!
When I took the exit test in school it said I had a 68% chance of passing on the first try. I took the VATI predictor yesterday & it said I now have a 94% chance of passing on the first try but I felt like I didn't even know most of the right answers! (sounds like what people say about NCLEX). I have studied my little heart out... every day, for HOURS and HOURS, since graduation on May 19.
I am a terrible, terrible test taker and get severe anxiety. In addition, I ALWAYS change my answers and second guess myself.
I'm not much for prayer, but I started praying this week! And asking those close to me to pray for me, too. I'm trying very hard to just think positive and say, "I have prepared for this for a long time, you got this!" but... it's not really working
I know we're supposed to relax the day before NCLEX, but I'm going to go through the AN study guide because I recently discovered it and have not had the chance to look over it.
I've prepared by using Virtual ATI, a Kaplan workbook, and some Saunders (until I realized it seemed much too easy to be NCLEX level) and then yesterday I also discovered the link for the NCLEX 3500.
Anyway, I just had to vent and whine to those of you that know what I'm going through... no one else would understand.
how soon after you tested did you try to PVT? I'm doing mine tomorrow and I dont wanna try it too early!
I took mine June 4, did the pvt literally 5 minutes after leaving the testing facility, and got the good pop up. Did it a million times more for the two days Waiting for the results, and still Kept Getting the good pop up. So it doesn't matter how soon you do it after taking the exam :) and Good Luck! :)

I got to the center early because I wasn't 100% sure where I was going. Test was scheduled for 2:00, I got there at 1:00 and they let me start early. Cut off at 75 questions and I tried the PVT in my car with my phone and here on my home computer when I got home and got the good pop-up both times. I literally thought I was going to throw up when the computer cut off.

I was just wondering how everyone that previouly posted about testing today, how are you all doing? Right after you finish the test, you have this surreal feeling. I didn't know how to feel, relief? or fear of the unknown? Just know that you all did your best and after every test(even in school) I would remind myself "It is what it is" and no matter how much you freak out or "what if", the same outcome is going to occur (hopefully a good outcome :) ). Try to relax over the next few days until the results come in. Good luck to you all. Prayers and good vibes going out to you. :hug:
