NCLEX Takers Support Thread

If you will be taking NCLEX and would like to be prayed for, can we start a fourm for this. I know that some folks are not into prayer and I don't want to offend anyone, but I sure need it!

I have read lot of people passed using her plan..so lets try it!

Does it matter which state you take it from? Is the exam all the same for Nclex?

I plan on taking my Nclex for the 3rd time, which I'm embarrased to say. I'm looking to get on Suzanne's Plan. Can anyone give me feedback on her plan? I'm determined to pass it this time.

Hey! You should not feel embarrassed! The most important thing is to recognize that whatever you did to prepare for the first two just wasn't what you needed and you've got to change it up somehow.

I've heard good things about Suzanne's plan and if nothing else, the Saunders book is excellent review.

What did you do to prepare for the first two? Any particular programs or books?

The exam is the same in every state and does not differ.

It is a national exam and has reciprocity but when moving states you need to meet state requirements for license

Welcome! If you go under the student tab, scroll down until you see NCLEX Discussion, click on this and this is where the info about Suzanne's Plan is located. Here's the thread 07/08 revision of Suzanne's First Tip.:redpinkhe You can also find out what other people have to say about it as well. I want you to know that it does not matter how many times you have taken the exam because this does not have any impact of the kind of RN that you will be. I am glad that you are determined because along with motivation and prayers these important ingredients will get you through until the very end! Good Luck!:)

I am in the same boat, so don't feel at all embaresed. I will be taking it in either December or January at the sluggish rate I'm going, and am absolutely loving Suzanne's plan. I highly recommend it. I feel much more confident and empowered by it and this is just after the first step.

There are several people in the same boat including myself but with determination,encouragement, prayer and the right study plan we will all conquer this beast! I should have read this thread a long time ago back in August when I didn't pass. After reading many of the posts like my fellow NCLEX takers I feel confident and support from all that you guys have said. I wish everyone the best of luck. Never give up and remember God's time is the best. Hopefully, with determination, prayers, and support I will knock it out in December. I need all the prayer I can get. I took the nclexrn on oct 23 and failed, but I'm trying to keep a positve attitude. I'm just glad that I can take it again.

just to let others know that suzanne's plan can and does work. i let my license lapse in 1989 after practicing in the field for about 12 yrs. i took the old boards. honestly the only thing i remember about them was that they were taken over 2 days and i waited 8 weeks to find out the results.

i went on to another degree/career and just recently decided to return. as you can see, i've been gone awhile.

so i googled and i found this forum. and searched and found information about nclex. i found suzanne's plan. so i started that in late august and on october 10th i took the nclex and found out on october 12th that i had passed.

so if i can do it after being gone from nursing for so long, so can you.

i do need to add that i did not use her plan exclusively. i supplemented it with kaplan qtrainers and the book. i wanted to be real sure i was prepared.

but her plan really helped me nail down content.
