  1. i love to read the histories of people passing the nclex, it gives me strenght to keep trying! congratulations!!!!
  2. I'm thinking about getting the online kaplan prep for my nclex, but after reading all of this I'm thinking twice. Did you got your results allready? do you think kaplan helped you? I really need to take the test and get a job, and I'm freaking out here!!!! thanks
  3. Same thing happened to me, call pcs and check if they have sent your results. I had to call them 3 times to get mine good luck!
  4. I agree with most of the posts here, and I also think we are loosing a lot of international nurses here because the process for validation it's very long and confusing. I have heard some nurses are going back to their countries because they could not finish the process with cgfns and nclex before their visas expired
  5. Hi iloveclay!Thank you soo much for sharing your experience, I have been away for almost 5 years and I failed the nclex twice. To see that you were able to came back after so long inspired me to keeo trying! I love this site! Thanks again!
  6. Hi to everybody taking the nclex this week! God bless you all!!!!!! go with faith!
  7. Hi everybody!!! I'm frm Brazil, went to nursing school there. I begin when I was 16 years old. I had to get a court order to be able to attend college so young, but I already knew what I wanted, that's why I fought for it. I have a aunt who is also a nurse, and I remember when I was a kid, looking at all the books and pictures, for some reason the human body always amazed me. I'm now 26 years old, and I have been trying to get my license here in US for the past 4 years. I can wait to get back to the crazy life of shifts and worries and finisshing the day with that feeling of acomplishment and realization that we get when we do what we are good of. I pray to God every day, to help me go trought this process whithout given up! I'm a nurse and I love everything about it!
  8. Hi 4myfamly! could you give just a little more information about Helen Feuer you mention here? thanks a lot!
  9. I'll be taking the nclex again next year, but until then, I'll be praying for you all too!!! I know it's our job to be prepared, but I think God can give us peace of mind and spirit during the process!
  10. I also took te nclex twice, and rigth now I'm feeling sooo lost. I've been reading the threads about courses and study plans, dos anyone knows if ATI is good? I've been thinking to pay for it, but it's close to 600 bucks, and i wanna be sure it's well worth it. It's really hard for me, since I have a bachelor degree from Brazil, and I've been out of practice for almost 5 years raising my kids... I feel like a new grad again... If anyone can give any tips I'll be very happy!!!! I have 6 years of experience in nursing in Brazil, I and can't wait to get back thanks C
