hi,wuw!you waited for nothing? agency is unsure but hmmm it already happened

but you know instead you let them again processed your papers?much better if you are the one who gonna processes it because its so easy first is just pass the all of the forms that would be needed in your school its either your school or your the one who will going to send it to the BON and 2nd is much easier if your already here thats the time your going to pass your application dont forget letter of explanation why you dont have a licensed and its easier to apply if your here because your just going to have a live scan rather than finger print card if your in phil and they need your SSN number

i cant actually do anything about it.. my agency told me that they were fixing it, and i was planning to file for another one but i was really unsure because i thought that everything will be mix up and i dont want that to happen, so i just let them do what they had to do.. im just glad that its finally processed.. still.. im waiting.. im still waiting.. thanks btw.. i wont give up on this..

Just remember, what works for some people may not work for others. DO NOT OVERWHELM Yourself! You need to do so many questions a day but if you are doing Suzanne's Plan you may be covered. I am testing in December so it sounds like we are doing this together! I am doing Suzanne's Plan also!

I know you need to do 100-200 questions a day so you may get used to a variety of them. Whether you get them right or wrong study the rationale to find out "why".

I would review in the mornings with my coffee. I did not work during nursing school and I did not start work after graduation either. I devoted all my time to my kids and studying the NCLEX. I would study after my husband went to work and drink coffee, I would say about 3-4 hours steady and then I would leave my laptop on and during the day I would do a few questions here and there.

The only review that I did was the cd's on my laptop. I tried using the books but the cd's were more my speed and seemed less confusing to me. I did each questions and read EVERY rationale, even if I got the question right. If you read all the rationales you will learn alot. Some of the programs give you hints and advice on how to pick out the correct answers on the NCLEX. Learn lab values and make sure you are refreshed on your math.

On my NCLEX, I had alot of all around questions. I had 5-6 math questions, 5-6 pharm, atleast (if not more) 10 of the select all that apply and prioritization and lab values.

When I was in nursing school the instructors told us that after graduation they recommend (also the BVNPT) that you do anywhere from 3-4000 NCLEX questions to prepare for the test. I was dumbfounded! But guess what? They were right. Do questions, questions, questions........

I hope this helps you. Remember this is what worked for me, it might not be right for everyone but it was my way and it got me thru it. Just have faith in yourself, go with your first gut instinct and remember to breathe and ABC's and safety.............

Long term use of Casanthrol (cascara sagrada) can cause hypolkalemia. Med stimulates peristalsis and alters fluid and elecrolyte transport, helping fluid to accumulate in the colon.

quinidine gluconate (Dura Quin) is an antidysrhytmic used for prophylactic therapy to maintain normal sinus rhythm after conversion of atrial fib. and/or atrial flutter. Contraindicated in complete AV block.

auranofin (Ridaura) is a gold preparation used for RA. Antirheumatic med.

Gold toxicity is an adverse effect and is evidenced by decreased hgb, leukopenia, reduced granulocyte count, proteinuria, hematuria.

xanthine bronchodilator:

Avoid cola, coffee & chocolate when taking xanthine bronchodilator. They contain xanthine and should be avoided if taking this med. Can lead to increased incidence of cardiovascular and CNS side effects that can occur with the use of these types of bronchodilators.

fluphenazine decanoate (Prolixin): a phenothiazine taken for mental/mood disorders. Monitor patient for signs of leukopenia. (adverse effects: blood dyscrasia: sore throat, gums, or throat).

hi guys please consider me in your prayers. i would like to share my story..

i graduated last MAR 07 from the philippines. Considering my status as a US ctizen, i did not plan to take the local boards.. i knew i had everything planned..

Last July 2007,i decided to apply for the nclex-rn, not knowing how and where to apply, my friend said that an agency can help me process all my papers.. I was quite confident with the agency because my friend said that they will help you process eveything and besides, you can hear and read great feedbacks..So i gave all my papers to them.. everything.. all i have to do was to wait for my eligibility.. that was all..

While i was patiently waiting for my elig, i enrolled in a review center, i was too preoccupied with studying that i forgot to check the status of my eligibility,.. Months went by, still no feedback, then my friend suggested that i should call BON to check if they receive it..

I was reluctant to call at first, so i called bon, and i inquired for my elig.. and to my surprise, they said that they didnt receive anything..

i was so bummed out and furious at the same time, because by february, we have to leave philippines..

so i called my agency and they said that they will fix whatever the problem is, soooo.. to cut the story short..

my agency passed all my requirements last may 8 2008..

so right now, im still waiting for my eligibility to come up.. and i think i waited 1 year and 4 months.

I just feel like a loser.. i mean, i waited.. PATIENTLY waited for months and months.. i mean it was such a waste of time..

before, i knew that i was capable of passing the exam.. but now.. i think im gonna flunk..im starting to lose hope..

im not as confident as before.. .. and i.. i just dont know what to do..

im also afraid of the thought.. that i wasted a lot of time to fail.. well.. thatz just it for now.. please.. reconsider me in your prayers..

Hi stefano..I am also a Filipino and I graduated last March 2007 too and didn't take my local boards..anyway, it took me 5months to wait for my ATT and then by AUgust I took the exam. Unfortunately, I didn't make it. I know everything happens for a reason. So, don't be sorry for yourself. I know you can do it. Have faith and don't ever lose hope! He has a plan for you.

Hello perlargentina!

Relax, go for a walk, some kind of exercise to decrease stress. I know it's hard but someone drank chamomile tea the night before and the morning of NCLEX. Chamomile is an antispasmodic and antiinflammatory which produces a mild sedative effect. Try the tea now before boards so you can see how if effects you before boards but it's a natural way to relax. I will pray for you and take a minute or two before you start the exam and ask for GOD'S guidance, giving you a clear mind so you may make good safe choices.
