If you will be taking NCLEX and would like to be prayed for, can we start a fourm for this. I know that some folks are not into prayer and I don't want to offend anyone, but I sure need it!

I passed on 8/18/08 with 75 questions... Here are some pointers, take if you wish...

#1 - KAPLAN! KAPLAN! KAPLAN! I used probably 5 or 6 books over my entire last year of school and I thought the Kaplan book was outstanding. It's only $35, too!

#2 - Always ASSESS your patient first.

#3 - K+ is the magic lyte

#4 - with priority questions, pick the patient that is CLOSET to death

#5 - INFECTION CONTROL!!! review your universal precautions and know what common bugs require for isolation

really?I have friends in your place.Well,I'm planning to take it on December. I just got a call from my Aunt and it's a letter from the BON. I think that's already my ATT.So,all I need is to schedule my exam date and review.hehe

Hi!!COngratulations!!I'm so happy for you. I also took my exam last 8/18/08. Unfortunately, I didn't make it. Well, I know everythin' happens for a reason. Anyway, all the best for you!! Take care.

I understand where you are coming from but you need to relax, have fun with your friends, family so you are rejuvenated for the BIG DAY!

I will say prayers for you as well as the others getting ready to test.

I just wanted all of you to know that I passed my NCLEX-PN. I want to thank all of you for the prayers and kind words. I will say that when I found out, I just sat down and cried. There had been so much stress, and animosity that had built up inside of me over the past few days, that when the results were revealed I just lost it!! Take care, and I will remember all of you in my prayers. I love you people, I love you NURSES!!! J
