NCLEX Takers Support Thread

If you will be taking NCLEX and would like to be prayed for, can we start a fourm for this. I know that some folks are not into prayer and I don't want to offend anyone, but I sure need it!

Me too!I'm using Saunders Comprehensive review..Am also gonna use Suzanne's plan..My friend passed the NCLEX-RN for the second time using Suzannes'. I am also not a licensed RN in our country. I didn't have the time to take my exam because I have to be here before I turn 21..That's the immigration law..

We'll fight for our dreams!Don't lose hope!!Everything will be in it's right place soon..

where can i find SUZANNE'S PLAN?:(

I graduated school in June and sat for the NCLEX as soon as I could. It was about 2 mths after I got out of school. I studied ALOT by doing NCLEX practice questions everyday. I did about 1500-2000 questions a week for the 2 mths. It doesn't matter how many you get wrong but it does matter that you understand how or why you got them wrong. I read every rationale to the questions, the ones I got right and the ones I got wrong. I felt like I actually learned alot more after I graduated by doing the questions then I did during school. The only thing that I did study that was not practice questions was lab values. I made flash cards with the normal lab values on them and studied them 5 at a time until I got them down. It took about a week to get them all memorized. On the NCLEX you need to be able to pick out the normal values.

I used about all the books....LOL I used mainly just the cd's on the computer. Before we got out of school we traded cd's so I had about 5 programs on my computer. I used Kaplan, Davis, Lippencott, Saunders...

hi guys please consider me in your prayers. i would like to share my story..

i graduated last MAR 07 from the philippines. Considering my status as a US ctizen, i did not plan to take the local boards.. i knew i had everything planned..

Last July 2007,i decided to apply for the nclex-rn, not knowing how and where to apply, my friend said that an agency can help me process all my papers.. I was quite confident with the agency because my friend said that they will help you process eveything and besides, you can hear and read great feedbacks..So i gave all my papers to them.. everything.. all i have to do was to wait for my eligibility.. that was all..

While i was patiently waiting for my elig, i enrolled in a review center, i was too preoccupied with studying that i forgot to check the status of my eligibility,.. Months went by, still no feedback, then my friend suggested that i should call BON to check if they receive it..

I was reluctant to call at first, so i called bon, and i inquired for my elig.. and to my surprise, they said that they didnt receive anything..

i was so bummed out and furious at the same time, because by february, we have to leave philippines..

so i called my agency and they said that they will fix whatever the problem is, soooo.. to cut the story short..

my agency passed all my requirements last may 8 2008..

so right now, im still waiting for my eligibility to come up.. and i think i waited 1 year and 4 months.

I just feel like a loser.. i mean, i waited.. PATIENTLY waited for months and months.. i mean it was such a waste of time..

before, i knew that i was capable of passing the exam.. but now.. i think im gonna flunk..im starting to lose hope..

im not as confident as before.. .. and i.. i just dont know what to do..

im also afraid of the thought.. that i wasted a lot of time to fail.. well.. thatz just it for now.. please.. reconsider me in your prayers..

hi,wuw!you waited for nothing?:no: agency is unsure but hmmm it already happened

but you know instead you let them again processed your papers?much better if you are the one who gonna processes it because its so easy first is just pass the all of the forms that would be needed in your school its either your school or your the one who will going to send it to the BON and 2nd is much easier if your already here thats the time your going to pass your application dont forget letter of explanation why you dont have a licensed and its easier to apply if your here because your just going to have a live scan rather than finger print card if your in phil and they need your SSN number

me,i waited for liked 3mos.much lesser if i did not forget my letter of explanation.

I will be praying for you.God allowed this to happen for a reason ,but I believe if u continue to have faith in him u will be ok.God allowed u to make it this far not to close a door in you face,just have faith...

Well tomorrow is the big day for me, please keep me in your prayers and pray that I remain calm during my test and that God helps me to remember and utilize my knowledge in order to be successful and pass, I'm taking it easy today and just looking over some light material and review questions. I went to church this morning and the sermon was about each and everyone of us being a miracle and realizing our potential, God has a plan for each of us, and for me conquering this test is the kickoff to my plan. I'll also be praying for everyone who will be testing along with me this week, I know that we have all prepared for the test the best we could and that now is the point that we have to rely on our faith in God to carry us through, I was told to put it in his hands, and thats what I'm going to do. We all need to stay positive and strong in faith. Good luck to all.....including myself!:up::up::up:
