NCLEX Takers Support Thread

I scheduled my exam last week of Octoberrrr.. Hope the ghouls and spirits of Halloween wont take over me. LOL. Wish me luck and all the best to all the candidates!!

Im using exam cram,saunders,lacharity and kaplan books.

Hope these will be my last cause I took it 2 times already.

Pearsonvue miss me a lot thats why they keep me coming back.LOL.:monkeydance::monkeydance:

Hello all! I will be taking my NCLEX-RN in 26 hours on Sept. 21. Please keep me in your prayers that I may pass and that I may find a way to relax and stay calm during the exam. I am extremely anxious and scared... I know it is not the end of the world if I do not pass but would not want to go through it again. Good luck to all the ones who have yet to take the exam... you are all in my prayers that may the Lord have mercy of us and help us get through this.

you will be fine!...take a deep breath, they offer ear plugs and head phones, which of both i did use...lol

just do as much of nclex style questions you can and read all the rationales even the ones you got right...

I took mine Monday, got the good pop up but still waiting to see the word!... but i definatley know how you are feeling... keep us posted!

He doesn't give us more than we can handle!

New to the site, and I Love it!! I would appreciate any and all prayers for my NCLEX testing date this Tuesday, Sept. 28th!!! I am trying my best to remain positive and collected, but this is the biggest test of my career!!! :)

I know this is an older thread but I am hoping it rubs off. I am taking my boards on monday 9/26 for the first time. Today I decided I am not ready. My brain is scattered. So I go to reschedule and anything you can think of from a foreignor on the phone taking my call, to an uncooperative website, to an 8 ball image freezing in the center of my screen out of no where so I can't reschedule. I guess I am just meant to take the test and hope for the best. Prayers are appreciated and I'll do the same. T/Y

just a little prayer I want to share with you guys. It helped me n just might help you if you believe in the power of prayer. You can say it as a novena for nine consecutive days. You don't have to be Catholic to say this prayer!!!

O St. Joseph of Cupertino who by your prayer obtained from God to be asked at your examination, the only preposition you knew. Grant that I may like you succeed in the (here mention the name of Examination) examination.

In return I promise to make you known and cause you to be invoked.

O St. Joseph of Cupertino pray for me

O Holy Ghost enlighten me

Our Lady of Good Studies pray for me

Sacred Head of Jesus, Seat of divine wisdom, enlighten me.

I also would like to share this prayer which I prayed before I took the NCLEX-RN exam:)

A Student's Prayer to St. Anthony

O glorious St. Anthony, divinely endowed with the learning of Saints, I desire to place my studies under your protection. Guided by your example, I wish to draw all my knowledge from the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary. With your assistance, I will study, to do my duty in a spirit of penance and with a pure intention. May the "Father of Light" grant me through your intercession, a bright intellect, a sound judgment and a retentive memory. Help me to study patiently, orderly and constantly to develop in me the gifts of God and always to make good use of them according to His Divine Will. O Dear St. Anthony, grant me to succeed in all my studies and examinations, if it be for the greater glory of God and the benefit of my Soul. Amen.
