  1. I did it!! Passed the NCLEX!
  2. I give Kudos to you for sharing your journey and accomplishments with this forum, because I know there are/were people out there in the same boat. Way to go!!!!!
  3. Welcome:) Don't try to set a specific pace for yourself, take your time, at least on the first 75. Heck, I took 2 hours on the first 75. But that's just me, AND I couldn't sleep the night before. Whatever strategy you are figuring with Kaplan, remember, that's Kaplan. The NCLEX is going to adapt to your responses on certain topics, not the time you spend on them. You are in the right percentile with Kaplan, so keep the faith. Read every question AND the answers before eliminating. Remember to ask yourself "is an assessment needed or an action(implementation)" and remember to apply your ABC's when needed. You got this~!
  4. Thanks ya'll!! Glad it's over, awaiting results now. Got the good pop-up, but I find out for sure tomorrow morning!
  5. Thanks for the replies, I want to believe sooooo much that it's true. I did it again today, got the good pop up again. So then, I phoned a friend that just found out she passed, and she tried to re-register. She got the same pop-up. I find out tomorrow morning via quick results, so I will keep everyone posted!!! :)
  6. sooo.... didn't sleep at all last night. felt like a zombie this morning in front of that computer. before i left, i read all these "PVT" threads and was a believer.:) Now, I'm a skeptic. I did get the good pop-up, but still having doubts. the wonderful feeling of stress!!!!! sorry i got carried away with the face characters.
  7. Thanks guys :) Good idea about setting a time break, I didn't know you could do that!! :)
  8. No problemo!
  9. Yes, I'm quoting the little engine that thought he could. That's where I am trying to keep my mind set. I just Graduated in August, and I am taking the NCLEX on this Tuesday, the 28th!! ahhhh! My nerves are shot, my 13 y/o dog is in congestive heart failure, and I'm moving to another state in less than two weeks... so my platter is full!! I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks, and my "testing" anxiety was horrible in nursing school. I just don't know what to expect, and it's getting close to crunch time. So, I thought I would ask for any advice/tips/preps for the day before the test, including the day of? :)
  10. yes, forget the weight. use dimen. analysis if that's how you were taught. start with what the question is asking for, which is mL. So I would put the order first: 13mg/ 1 multiplied by what you have on hand: 2 ml/20 mg. Then I would figure they just want the mL, not mL per min, or mL per hour, so I would cancel out my mg's and you're left with ml's. "q36 hrs" is there to throw you off, too, only use the hr's if it asks the drip rate, or etc. 13mg 2mL 26 ------- * -------- = --------- = 1.3 mL 1 20 mg 20 Hope this helped :)
  11. New to the site, and I Love it!! I would appreciate any and all prayers for my NCLEX testing date this Tuesday, Sept. 28th!!! I am trying my best to remain positive and collected, but this is the biggest test of my career!!! :)
