Hello everyone! I've been browsing through some topics, and i know this is another thread with someone that stopped the NCLEX-PN @ 85 ?'s. But, I need to release my stress and nervousness about how i performed. I came in as one of the last people to take the test, and one of the first to finish. I took the test that took me about 1 hour and 35 minutes and I stopped at 85 ?'s. I had maybe 4-5 SATA, maybe 5-6 pharm, alot of "U are at a conference, what would you include" ?'s, sum prioritization like which pt to see first, rooming and infection control. No math questions, no pictures, or no box ?'s. Has anyone had the same situation? I just took the test this morning @ 8:00am and I tried the Pearson Vue Trick but i dont know if it takes effect same day because I didnt get the "Pop-up" that everyone talks about. Anyone have these same situations? I'm located in California btw, and i took my exam in Oakland. Thanks!!

Good luck to you!
Has any of you heard of anyone that passed but went through to the CC page when trying the PVT? I'm going insane! it's letting me go back to the CC page and i've been all over this board and googling everything to see if anyone has went to the CC page and passed.

You took it in CA...put your feet up and relax. It will take some time to get the results. Now that CA has been putting state employees on furlow for a day every other week or so, thing will be really slow at the board's office. You can't rush it through...darn.
If you stoped at 85...you either did just fine or failed so awful that the machine cut you off. I have the feeling you passed. I had the same situation. I just about wore out the website searching for my name and license #. I don't know which came first--the letter or my name published on the board's website. Good luck :redpinkhe

Same situation as u my friend took it n Fresno ca stopped at 85 ?s tried pvt got the good pop up .. Tmro is officially my sixth week waiting!! Ugh took it on the 27th of feb...And u would think ca would have the quick results.. We pay for everything else y not let us pay to get our results!!!
Good luck and patience to all of us!! God bless
Thanks MeganS! I had a feeling I did good and knew most of the answers or at least thought. I left the test center confidently, but I forgot about the PVT and tried it, and now it got me concerned. But, I can just wait for the results to come in, but I didn't know about the state employees taking a furlough day, So i'm just going to wait.
xxxPTLxxx & MelaBoo22-Nice, that should be a good sign that you guys received the good pop up. but man, ur on ur 5th week and 6th week?? Hopefully they can get it to us sooner.

You should check your Board of Nursing website. I'm not sure about other states, but Texas has a way of verifying your license whether it be an RN or LVN license. When Pearson Vue had it's results in 48 hours from the time I took my test, I didn't pay extra to get my results. I went to my Board of Nursing website to see if they changed my GVN temporary license to my actual license and sure enough, I had been issued the license by the Board and that's how I knew I passed the test and this was 48 hours from the time I took it. Stop trying to kill yourself over it. If your board of nursing doesn't have a way of verifying to see if you have been given your license, then just pay extra to get the quick unofficial results. I had 85 questions and I passed. I came out of that test far more nervous and scared then when I went in and I was extremely scared of taking the test. I just knew it after taking the test that I had failed it because I realized that I had missed one really easy question, but I guess I hadn't failed after all. I'm still on cloud 9. Can't believe I passed with just 85 questions. Only the smart people from my class passed with that many and only one person that I'm aware of failed with that many questions. Wish you the best of luck!!!
